Three Indian companies -Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Tata Group and the Serum Institute of India have been included in the annual Times Magazine Global 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024. This was the fourth edition of the annual Times Magazine Global 100 Most Influential Companies. The first edition was published by the American Time magazine in 2021.
The Times Magazine Global 100 most influential companies list categorised the companies into five categories: Titans, Leaders, Disrupters, Innovators, and Pioneers.
Reliance Industries Limited and the Tata Group were included in the Titan category, while the vaccine maker Serum Institute of India was included in the Pioneer category.
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is India’s largest and most profitable private sector company, operating in petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecom, retail, and financial services. This is the second time RIL or its subsidiary company has been included in the Times list. In 2021, Jio, a subsidiary of RIL, was included in the first Times Magazine Global 100 Most Influential Companies.
Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) is also the richest person in Asia and was ranked the 10th wealthiest man in the world by the 13th Hurun Global Rich List.
RIL owns and operates the world’s largest single-location oil refinery at Jamnagar, Gujarat.

It is the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer, producing polio, diphtheria, BCG, measles, rubella, and HPV vaccines.
