World No.1 men's tennis player Jannik Sinner of Italy won his first ATP Finals title in Turin, Italy, by defeating American Taylor Fritz in straight sets in the final. Earlier, American Coco Gauff won the season-ending 2024 WTA Finals by defeating Zheng Qinwen of China.

The German pair of Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz won the season-ending ATP Finals doubles title.

The season's ending ATP Finals which is the last tournament of the year in the men’s professional tennis was held in the Italian city of Turin from 10-17 November 2024.

First ATP finals title for Jannik Sinner 

In the repeat  of the 2024 US Open finals , Jannik Sinner defeated American Taylor Fritz 6-4 6-4 in the final of the 2024 ATP Finals played at the Inalpi Arena,Turin on 17 November 2024.

  • Jannik Sinner, winner of the 2024 singles title of the US Open and Australian Open, won the ATP Finals without losing a single set in the tournament.
  • In 1986, Czech-American Ivan Lendl won the ATP finals without losing a single set.
  • After Roger Federer(Switzerland) and Novak Djokovic(Serbia), Italian Jannik Sinner is the only men's tennis player to win the Australian Open, US Open and the ATP Finals in the year. 

German Duo of Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz wins the Doubles Title 

The German duo of Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz won the season-ending ATP Finals doubles title by beating World No.1 doubles team Marcelo Arevalo of El Salvador and Mate Pavic of Croatia in the final.

It was for the first time that a German pair has won the doubles title in the 55 years history of the ATP Finals.

Rohan Boppana of  India, who participated in the doubles with Australian Matthew Ebden, failed to qualify for the semi-finals. Rohan Boppana is the oldest tennis player to participate in the ATP Finals.

Player who played at the 2024 ATP Finals 

The season-ending ATP Finals is for the eight top-rank men’s singles and doubles tennis players.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic withdrew from the Finals due to injury. 

The eight top-ranked single tennis players who participated in the 2024 Finals were Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz(Spain), Alexander Zeverv (Germany), Taylor Fritz(US),Daniil Medvedev(Russia),Casper Ruud(Norway),Alex de Minaur(Australia), and Andrey Rublev(Russia).

The following pairs participated in the double: Marcelo Arévalo/Mate Pavić, Marcel Granollers/Horacio Zeballos, Simone Bolelli/Andrea Vavassori, Wesley Koolhof/Nikola Mektic, Rohan Bopanna/Matthew Ebden,Kevin Krawietz/Tim Puetz, Harri Heliovaara/Henry Patten, and Max Purcell/Jordan Thompson.

ATP Finals 

The ATP Finals is the season-ending tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which has been held every year since 1970.

Since 2021 the Italian city of Turin has hosted the ATP Finals and according to a recent agreement, Turin will host it till 2030.

Serbian Novak Djokovic has won the ATP Finals title for the maximum seven times.

The American doubles pair of John McEnore and Peter Fleming has won the ATP Doubles Title for a maximum seven times.
