Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the establishment of the Rajasthan State Faculty Development Academy (RSFDA) in Jaipur for educational reform and orientation in higher education.
About Rajasthan State Faculty Development Academy
Through the Rajasthan State Faculty Development Academy, MoU will be signed with national and international level reputed training institutes for improvement in higher education, orientation of teachers and quality training.
- Training will be organized in institutions like HCM-RIPA, IGPRS, HRDC, Rajasthan University, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyapeeth-Kanak Bhawan, etc.
- Until the academy building is constructed, it will be operated at the Mahatma Gandhi Vidyapeeth-Gandhi Study Center at Kanak Bhawan.
- Soon, the academy will be registered under the Societies Act, and till then, it will be operated under the Rajasthan College Education Society (Raj-CES).
- Notably, the Chief Minister had made an announcement in this regard in the budget year 2023-24.
