UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2024 has been issued by the Union Public Service Commission on 7 June 2024. The UPSC Civil Services Pre Exam 2024 is scheduled to take place on 16 June 2024 in two shifts from 9:30 am to 11:30 am from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 Exam Pattern

Those who are going to appear in the UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2024 should be familiar with the UPSC IAS 2024 Exam Pattern. The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination is conducted to select the most qualified candidates for the Main Examination. Below is a detailed overview of the UPSC CSE Pre-Exam Pattern 2024:

1. Both question papers in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions) and each will be of two hours duration. 
2. The General Studies Paper-II will be a qualifying paper with a minimum qualifying mark set at 33%. 
3. The UPSC CSE Pre-Question papers will be available in both Hindi and English. 
4. There will be a deduction of  ⅓ marks for each wrong answer as a negative marking.
