CAPF AC Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Applicants must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements for the examination. Their admission at every stage of the exam will be provisional, contingent upon satisfying the specified eligibility criteria. Nationality

The Nationality/Citizenship requirements for the CAPF AC exam are as follows.

• Both male and female candidates must be Indian citizens. 

• Candidates holding Nepalese or Bhutanese citizenship, on the other hand, are qualified to appear in this exam. Such candidates who want to appear in this exam must first seek approval from the Central Government.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• The minimum age limit is 20 years.

• The maximum age limit is 25 years.

• Age relaxation is provided by the government for certain groups. For example, SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of up to 5 years, while OBC candidates get a relaxation of up to 3 years.

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required. Candidates appearing in the final year of their degree program are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit proof of passing the degree examination before the specified date. 

During the interview or personality exam, candidates having NCC 'B' or 'C' certificates will be given preference. These qualifications will only be considered during the interview/personality test.

Candidates should follow the steps below mentioned to apply for this recruitment exam: 

• Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC.

• Step 2: Next, locate and click on the CAPF Recruitment tab. There are two steps to the CAPF AC Application Process: Stage 1 and Stage 2.

• Step 3: Candidates must first choose the relevant position before filling out the required information.

• Step 4: Candidates need to submit the CAPF AC Application Fee 2024 in the manner specified.

• Step 5: Candidates will be emailed a registration number and password after the completion of the part-I registration module.

• Step 6: In Part II registration process, the candidates will be required to provide all pertinent information as requested.

CAPF AC 2024 Selection Process

UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2024 has been described through the UPSC CAPF AC Notification. The UPSC CAPF recruitment for 2024 will employ a three-stage approach in selecting candidates. The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Examination is outlined as follows:

(i) Written Examination: The UPSC CAPF AC Written Examination will consist of two papers. Paper I will include objective-type questions on General Ability and Intelligence, totaling 250 marks. Questions will be asked in both English and Hindi languages. Paper II will cover General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension, with a total of 200 marks. Candidates will have the option to write the Essay Component in either English or Hindi, but Precis Writing, Comprehension Components, and other communication/language skills will be in English only.

(ii) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests: Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. Those who meet the specified Physical Standards will undergo the Physical Efficiency Tests outlined below:

(iii) Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who are deemed qualified in the Medical Standards Tests will be summoned for an Interview/Personality Test conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The Interview/Personality Test will carry a weightage of 150 Marks.

(iv) Final Selection / Merit: The merit list will be compiled based on the marks obtained by candidates in both the Written Examination and the Interview/Personality Test.

CAPF AC Exam Pattern
