UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023 for 577 Posts of EO/AO & APFC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued an official notification for the post of EPFO Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer & Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner on 25 February 2023.

Through this recruitment drive, the Commission will recruit eligible candidates for the post of EO/AO and APFC posts for the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

This recruitment drive will fill 577 vacant positions for Enforcement Officers (EO), Accounts Officers (AO), and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners (APFC). The post-wise bifurcation of total vacancies is provided in the table below:

UPSC EPFO APFC & EO/AO Eligibility Criteria 2023

Before applying for the recruitment, candidates must check the information regarding the age limits and educational requirements, the applicant must meet the eligibility standards. If they do not meet the qualifications, they will not be considered for the post. Check out the full details below.

(a) EPFO Nationality:

A Candidate must be either: 

(a) a citizen of India, or 

(b) a subject of Nepal, or 

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or 

(c) a Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intent of permanently settling there before the 1st of January 1962.

(b) EPFO Age Limit & Relaxation:

One of the most essential eligibility criteria that candidates must meet in order to be considered for the recruiting drive is the age limit. The upper age limit for the post of UPSC EPFO Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner is 35 years, and for EO/AO is 30 years.

UPSC EPFO APFC & EO/AO 2023 - Apply Online

The online applications were accepted by the UPSC for EPFO recruitment from 25 February 2023 till March 17, 2023. The steps for applying for the recruitment are listed below.

• Click here to see the UPSC EPFO Online Application Form.
• When the new tab opens, select the “Apply Now” option.
• On the following page, look for the declaration “Yes, I Agree” at the bottom of the page.
• Fill out the form with your details.
• Finally, confirm your agreement with the declaration and submit Part I of the UPSC EPFO Officer Online Application Form.
• Proceed to Part II of the form and submit payment information (except for fee-exempt candidates), examination centre selection, photograph, signature, photo identity card document, and declaration.
• Make sure all of your credentials are correct before clicking the Submit button.

The application fee can be paid in cash at any SBI branch or by using any bank's net banking facility or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. The application fee is mentioned in the table below:

During the recruiting process, candidates will be chosen based on their performances in the written test (recruitment test) and interview. Applicants who pass the test can have their identification documents certified and undergo a medical examination.

• All questions will carry equal marks.
• The examination will include objective questions with multiple-choice answers
• English and Hindi will be the languages of the test.
• There will be a negative marking for incorrect answers. Every incorrect response will result in a ⅓ (one-third) reduction in the marks allocated to that question. There will be no penalty if no answer is marked for a question.

UPSC EPFO Admit Card will be released separately on its official website, i.e. www.upsc.gov.in, for applicants who are eligible to appear in the respective stage. The admit cards will be available to download from the official website of the commission only, and candidates will not be issued UPSC EPFO Admit Card by any other means/mode. Follow the steps mentioned below to download your admit card:

UPSC EPFO APFC & EO/AO Answer Key 2023

After taking the examination, pupils wait to learn the correct answers to the exam questions. The official answer key for the written exam, like all UPSC exams, is released within a week after the exam's completion. The UPFC EO/AO and APFC answer keys will be accessible separately for each set, i.e. A, B, C, and D, and must be downloaded in PDF format. 

The commission will first release the Provisional Answer Key and candidates will be asked to challenge or raise objections against those answers, if any. After reviewing the objections submitted by the candidates, the Final Answer Key will be released on the official website. The following are the ways to download the UPSC EPFO answer key:

UPSC EPFO APFC & EO/AO Result 2023

UPSC EPFO Enforcement Officer Result PDF will be published on the Union Public Service Commission's official website at www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have been shortlisted after passing the recruiting test will be invited to the interview process, which will determine their final selection. Marks earned in the Recruitment Test and Interview will be weighted 75:25 to determine the final result.
