Candidates shortlisted for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026 must complete the UPSC Mains DAF 2026 through the UPSC online portal between 19 June and 28 June 2026:
Important: Failure to complete the mandatory online process within the specified period will result in non-generation of the e-Admit Card for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026, and such candidates will not be allowed to appear in the subsequent stages of the examination.
Note: The CSE Prelims 2026 cut-off marks and candidates'scorecards will be released by the commission after the completion of the Civil Services Examination 2026 and Indian Forest Service Examination 2026 cycles and declaration of the final results.
Candidates who qualify in the UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2026 will now be eligible to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2026, which is the second stage of the selection process. Before appearing for the UPSC CSE Mains 2026, qualified candidates must complete the Detailed Application Form (DAF) process within 19 June to 28 June 2026.
