UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Final Result 2023 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 12 January 2024. The Final Result PDF available on the commission's official website contains the roll number and names of the 258 candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts of Geologist Group ‘A’, Geophysicist Group ‘A’ and Chemist Group ‘A’ in the Geological Survey of India; and Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’, Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’ in the Central Ground Water Board.
Candidates who took the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2023 can see their results on the official website of the commission, i.e. upsc.gov.in. The final result released by the commission is based on the results of the Stage-I (Preliminary) Examination held on 19th February 2023, Stage-II (Main) Examination held on 24th & 25th June 2023 of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2023 conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION and followed by the Personality Test in November and December 2023.

Note: The commission has kept the results of 19 candidates provisional, and they will not be issued until the Commission verifies the original documents (which are still pending from such candidates) and clears their provisional status. Candidates must submit their original documents to the commission within three months.
If a candidate fails to submit the required documents to the Commission within the specified time frame, his or her candidature will be cancelled, and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Candidates can get more information at the UPSC's official website.
