UGC NET Exam Date 2024 Out: Check UGC Net Exam Dates And Exam Pattern
UGC NET Exam Date 2024 announced by the National Testing Agency. University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test June 2024 is scheduled for two shifts between 21 August 2024 to 04 September 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC-NET June 2024 for three purposes: (i) awarding the Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. programs, and (iii) admission to Ph.D. programs only, across 83 subjects using Computer-Based Testing (CBT).
Earlier the UGC NET Exam was scheduled to take place on 18 June 2024. But on 28 June 2024, the NTA was issued a notice to announce the New UGC NET Exam Date 2024.
On 2 August 2024, the NTA issued a notice in continuation with the Detailed UGC NET June Exam Schedule 2024. Those who have applied for the UGC NET June 2024 should check the UGC NET Exam Date Schedule and plan their study schedule accordingly. The notification for the exam centre city will be available on the NTA websites at least 10 days before the exam.

UGC NET June Exam Date is out for those who have applied for the UGC NET June 2024 Exam. According to the NET Exam Schedule the NET June Exam 2024 is scheduled from 21 August 2024 to 04 September 2024 in two shifts i.e. 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
The UGC NET exam, administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the qualifying examination for Assistant Professor positions and/or Junior Research Fellowships at universities and colleges across India. Candidates preparing for the UGC NET 2024 should review the exam pattern, detailed below for both papers.
- There will be 50 questions of 100 marks in Paper 1 and 100 questions of 200 marks in Paper 2
- The exam duration is three hours (180 minutes) and is conducted in a single session without breaks.
- Each correct answer earns the candidate two marks.
- Except for language-specific papers, all question papers are available in both English and Hindi.
