The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) is soon expected to release the notification for the REET 2023 Exam. It is an eligibility test to recruit suitable candidates for teaching positions in Rajasthan's government schools.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the final result with the list of shortlisted candidates of the REET 2022 exams held for 21,000 primary school teacher posts and 27,000 upper primary teaching posts in September 2023. The exams for the same were held between February-March 2023.

As mentioned earlier, the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted by the BSER. The test is mandatory for candidates who wish to teach in primary and upper primary schools in Rajasthan and is held for two levels respectively (level 1 and level 2).
The REET 2023 notification and the online application form for the exam are expected to be released in October. The official notification for REET 2023 and the vacancy details have not yet been announced by the Board. Through the previous notifications published in December 2022, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board declared a total of 48,000 vacancies for primary and upper primary teachers. This included 21,000 vacant posts for Level 1 Teachers (primary), and 27,000 posts at Level 2 (upper primary school teachers).
It is important for candidates to make sure that they satisfy the REET 2023 eligibility criteria before they decide to apply for the exam. Although the official notification for 2023 has not yet been released, the eligibility conditions to appear in the exam are expected to be the same as prescribed for the last year’s exam cycle. The minimum requirement for educational qualifications, along with the other qualifying criteria, have been explained in brief below.

The notification for REET level 1 and level 2 exams for 2022 laid out the following minimum and maximum age criteria to appear in the exams.

Note: The Board allows relaxation in the upper age limit to certain categories of candidates. The details of the same shall be available upon the release of the official notification.
As per the previous exam cycle, the RSMSSB notification included the following educational qualifications for the different levels of the exam.

The application forms for REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers) 2023 shall be filled online on the official website https://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in with the link i.e. reetraj2023. Candidates will be able to fill the online form on the designated dates once the application link becomes active. The procedure to fill the online application and the registration link shall be made available on the above-mentioned website.

The REET 2023 application fee is expected to be the same as that of the previous year. The registration fee shall be payable in online mode through challan/ debit card/ net banking/ e-mitra. The expected exam fee for different levels is mentioned below (in Rs) :
REET Level 1: Rs 550/-
REET Level 2: No fee (for old candidates of previous REET exam)
REET Level 2: Rs 550/- (for new candidates)
For both levels: Rs 750/- (for new candidates)

Exam Pattern For Level II (class 6 to 8):
The Board will issue the REET admit card 2023 on the official website a few days before the exam. Candidates must check that all details mentioned on their admit card are correct. It is necessary to carry the admit card to the REET exam centre, as it validates the applicant’s candidature for the exam. The process to download the admit card has been provided below:
Step 1: Go to the official reetbser website for 2023 (the link shall be updated here when released by the board).
Step 2: Click on the “Download Admit Card” link.
Step 3: Submit the required login details (registration number and date of birth).
Step 4: Your admit card will show up on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and take a printout of the same to carry to the exam hall.
Soon after the conclusion of the exam, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) shall release the REET answer key. Candidates can download the same from the official website to assess their performance in the exam and calculate their estimated score. It is important to note that the answer key will have provisional solutions and there may be an opportunity to challenge the same if found incorrect.
The REET level 2 result was declared by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) on its official website on 11 September 2023. The Board has also released the final recommendation list of selected candidates for both REET Level 1 and Level 2, along with the cut-off marks for different categories.
These results pertain to the REET 2022 exams conducted between 25th February and 1st March 2023. Candidates who appeared for these exams can check their results in the following manner:
The initial salary for candidates selected on the basis of the eligibility test is Rs. 23,700 (without any allowances) during the probation period. After successful completion of the two-year probation period, the candidates shall be paid a salary in accordance with the pay scale associated with the post. The salary for Rajasthan school teachers is payable as per the 7th pay commission (level-10).
