Bihar School Teacher Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will fill approximately 70,000+ vacancies in the state of Bihar for Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5), Middle School Teachers (Classes 6–8), Secondary Teachers (Classes 9–10), and Senior Secondary Teachers (Classes 11–12) under the Educational Department and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024

Before applying for teaching positions, candidates must ensure that they meet the Bihar Education Department's teacher eligibility criteria. The general eligibility requirements are

Nationality and Domicile

The candidate must be a citizen of India, However, candidates from other states are welcome to apply for the position; they are not required to be from Bihar. 

Age limit 

The age limit for Bihar Teacher Recruitment varies by post. The candidate's age as of 01 August 2023, shall be considered for the age limit.

The minimum and upper ages for each post are summarized below, with different categories receiving a relaxation in upper age.

Note: The retirement age for all the posts is 60 years. 

Educational Qualification 

The post-wise educational qualification is described below:

Bihar Teacher for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5) 

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary education/12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR)
• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination/12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.ED), (OR)
• Candidates must have passed 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR )
• Graduation with 50 % Marks and 2-year Diploma in Early Education/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed Special education.
• Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I 

Bihar Teacher for Middle School Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

Candidates must have cleared CTET Paper II or BTET Paper II.

Bihar Teacher for Secondary Teacher (Class 9 to 10)

Candidates must have cleared STET Paper I for Secondary School Teachers (Classes 9 to 10 ) and (Class 6 to 10) and Special School Teachers (Class 9 to 10).

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/B.A/B.Com) course with at least 45% and pass/appear in senior secondary/B. E.D. with a minimum of 50% marks and candidates have qualified for CTET/Bihar TET exam. Candidates can check the subject-wise education qualifications required for that post from the below table.

Bihar Teacher for Higher Secondary Teacher (Class 11 to 12)

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and a B.Ed degree from a reputable university/institute. The table lists the educational qualifications for each post below.

Apply Online for Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024

Candidates can now apply for the BPSC TRE 3.0 Vacancy 2024 for Government Teachers in Bihar via the official BPSC website. Aspirants can submit their completed application forms directly by clicking the official application link provided in the article. Bihar Teacher Application Fee 

The application fee is non-refundable and set by the Bihar government. Candidates can pay Bihar teacher application fees online using UPI, credit card, debit card, or net banking. Note: Candidates who have provided their Aadhar number as an identity card in the online application forms will not be required to pay a biometric fee. 

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024 - Selection Process of TRE 3.0

There are following two stages in the Bihar TRE Selection Process:

• Written Examination: The written examination will be used to assess the candidate's knowledge, skills, and comprehension of various topics related to the teaching profession, such as languages, general studies, and subject-specific knowledge. 
• Document Verification

Once the application has been submitted the candidates will be called for a written examination for the posts of Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5), Middle School Teachers (Classes 6–8), Secondary Teachers (Classes 9–10), and Senior Secondary Teachers (Classes 11–12). Candidates who pass the written examination will be invited to the document verification process for the final selection process.

Following the successful completion of the DV stage, the commission will announce the final result, along with the merit list of candidates with district allocation details. 

Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024

The BPSC teacher recruitment notification has been released by the Commission. The exam patterns for primary, secondary, and senior secondary teachers are now available. The Bihar Teacher Exam will consist of three papers. Paper 1 is for language, Paper 2 is for general studies, and Paper 3 (from middle school onwards) is for the candidate's chosen subject.

Bihar TRE 3.0 Admit Card 2024

Bihar Teacher Admit Card for Phase 3 exam, which is scheduled to take place in the first half 2024, will be available one week before the exam. The Admit Card is a critical document that grants candidates access to the exam hall and contains important information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam center, and exam time. The BPSC TRE 3.0 Admit Card 2024 can be downloaded from the commission's official website using the steps outlined below:

Bihar TRE 3.0 Answer Key 2024

The BPSC TRE 3.0 answer key is officially released on the commission's official website a few days (or less than a month) after the exam. The answer key is distributed with the candidate response sheet (objection) and question papers (series-wise). The answer key lets candidates compare their marked answers.

Bihar TRE 3.0 Result 2024

The Bihar Public Selection Commission usually releases the TRE Result separately after the written examination and the final result on their official website once the examination is completed. The shortlisted candidates can download their results after each stage by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Go to the BPSC's official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, go to the "Results: School Teacher Competitive Examination - (POST)" link for the subject you applied for.

Step 3: The BPSC TRE 3.0 Result PDF for your subject will appear on the screen.
