The application process for BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in online mode only through the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Candidates will be able to apply once the detailed notification and application link are released, which is expected in March 2026.
Candidates will be required to complete the application process by following the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of BPSC and click on the link for BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 4.0 – Apply Online.
Step 2: Candidates need to register themself by providing a valid email ID and mobile number. After successful registration, log in using the registration ID and password you rcieved.
Step 3: Fill in all the required details, such as personal information, educational qualifications, teaching eligibility details, and communication addresses carefully.
Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format as mentioned in the detailed notification.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online using available payment modes such as debit card, credit card, or net banking. The application fee will be category-wise as per BPSC rules.
Step 6: Before final submission, review all the entered details carefully. After successful submission, download and take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Candidates applying for Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2026 through BPSC TRE 4.0 must keep certain documents ready at different stages of the recruitment process. Some documents are required while filling out the online application form, and then their originals are needed at the time of Document Verification.
While filling the BPSC TRE 4.0 online application form, candidates will need to upload and enter details from the following documents:

Candidates who qualify in the BPSC TRE 4.0 written examination will be called for the next stage, which is Document Verification. At this stage, they must carry the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies:
Candidates must carry both originals and copies. Failure to produce the required documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
1. Written Examination: The first and most important stage is the BPSC TRE 4.0 written examination. This exam will assess a candidate’s subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and understanding of the school curriculum. The question paper will include sections related to language proficiency, general studies, and subject-specific topics based on the level of the post applied for (Classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, or 11 to 12). Performance in this exam plays a key role in the preparation of the merit list.
2. Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Document Verification round. In this stage, shortlisted candidates will have to produce original documents related to educational qualifications, teaching eligibility, category certificates (if applicable), and other required proofs. This step ensures that all information provided in the application form is accurate and valid.
After the successful completion of the Document Verification process, BPSC will release the final result along with the district-wise merit list and allocation details. Final appointment will be made based on the candidate’s scores in the written examination, preferences, and availability of vacancies in their selected districts of Bihar.
The BPSC teacher recruitment notification has been released by the Commission. The exam patterns for primary, secondary, and senior secondary teachers are now available. The Bihar Teacher Exam will consist of three papers. Paper 1 is for language, Paper 2 is for general studies, and Paper 3 (from middle school onwards) is for the candidate's chosen subject.

The admit card for the BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam 2026 will be released on the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) a few days before the scheduled date of the exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit card onlinefrom the commission’s website only.
The BPSC TRE 4.0 admit card will contain important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, exam date, shift timing, and important instructions. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center, as entry will not be allowed without it.
Steps to Download BPSC TRE 4.0 Admit Card 2026
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) from the link given above.
Step 2: Go to the “Latest Notifications” or “Admit Card” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the link that reads “Download Admit Card for BPSC TRE 4.0 Examination”.
Step 4: Enter your Registration Number / Application ID and Date of Birth as required.
Step 5: Submit the details to view your BPSC TRE 4.0 Admit Card on the screen.
Step 6: Download your BPSC TRE 4.0 Written exam Admit Card PDF and take a printout to carry on the exam day.
The BPSC TRE 4.0 answer key is officially released on the commission's official website a few days (or less than a month) after the exam. The answer key is distributed with the candidate response sheet (objection) and question papers (series-wise). The answer key lets candidates compare their marked answers.

The Bihar Public Selection Commission usually releases the TRE Result separately after the written examination and the final result on their official website once the examination is completed. The shortlisted candidates can download their results after each stage by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 2: From the homepage, go to the "Results: School Teacher Competitive Examination - (POST)" link for the subject you applied for.
Step 3: The BPSC TRE 4.0 Result PDF for your subject will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Review the names and roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates and download the PDF.
Step 5: Print the BPSC TRE 4.0 Result PDF for future reference.
Note: The result PDF will also include the merit list, complete with serial/roll numbers.
The Bihar Public Service Commission will release the BPSC TRE 4.0 Cut-Off 2026 after the declaration of the written examination result. The cut-off marks represent the minimum score required to qualify for inclusion in the final merit list for Primary (Classes 1–5), Middle (Classes 6–8), Secondary (Classes 9–10), and Senior Secondary (Classes 11–12) teacher posts. Only those candidates who score equal to or above the prescribed cut-off for their category and subject will be considered for further stages of the selection process.
The BPSC TRE cut-off is determined on the basis of several factors, including the total number of vacancies, the number of candidates who appeared in the examination, the difficulty level of the question paper, subject-wise competition, and the reservation policy applicable in Bihar. The cut-off is released separately for each post level and subject, and it is also published category-wise for General, EWS, EBC, BC, SC, ST, and other applicable categories.
To understand the expected competition level for TRE 4.0, candidates can refer to the previous TRE cut-off trends. In earlier recruitment cycles, the cut-off for General category candidates in Primary and Secondary subjects has generally remained higher in high-demand subjects such as Mathematics and Hindi, while comparatively moderate in language and humanities subjects. Reserved categories have separate qualifying benchmarks as per government norms.
