RBI Assistant exam is conducted in two phases ; Prelims and Mains. Both examinations evaluate the knowledge of candidates in different subjects.

ii. To pass the Objective test, a candidate must qualify in each section separately.
iii. Negative marking will apply for incorrect answers in the Objective test. For each incorrect response, 1/4 of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
