IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Candidates wishing to apply for CRP Clerks-XIV must meet the minimum eligibility criteria outlined by IBPS in the notification. These criteria usually encompass nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications. To appear in the clerk exam 2024, aspirants must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Institute. Nationality

The nationality requirements for the IBPS Clerk position are as follows:

(i) A candidate must be an Indian citizen, or 

(ii) A candidate must be a Nepalese subject, or 

(iii) A candidate must be a Bhutanese subject, or 

(iv) A candidate must be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 

(v) An individual of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (previously Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the goal of establishing permanent residency in India.

Note:- Candidates in categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

Age Limit & Relaxation

To apply for the IBPS Clerk position, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age. This means a candidate must have been born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2004. Age relaxations are available for special categories, as detailed in the table below:

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for the IBPS Clerk position is as follows:

  • A graduation degree in any discipline from a university approved by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate proving their graduation status on the day of registration and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in their graduation while registering online.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory. Candidates should have a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or language, or have studied computer science or information technology as a subject in high school, college, or institute.

IBPS Clerk Application Process

The IBPS Clerk Application Form 2024 is now available, and candidates can apply from 1 July to 28 July 2024. Below is a step-by-step guide for the IBPS Clerk 2024 Recruitment:

  1. Go to the official IBPS website.
  2. Look for and click on the notification that says “Online Registration For IBPS Clerk 2024.”
  3. Register by entering your personal details, phone number, and email ID.
  4. To finalize your registration, provide your personal and contact information. Once your registration is successful, you will be issued a registration ID and password.
  5. Log in with your registration ID and password, and verify using Captcha.
  6. Click the Login button, enter the required details, and complete the application form by paying the required application fee online.
  7. Finally, save the completed application form and keep it for future reference.

Application Fees 

To complete the IBPS Clerk Application Process 2024, candidates must submit the required application fee according to their categories. The application fee is non-refundable and must be submitted by 28 July 2024. IBPS Clerk 2024 Selection Process

The IBPS Clerk Selection Process consists of a Common Recruitment Process that includes both an Online Preliminary Examination and an Online Main Examination. According to the IBPS Clerk Notification 2024, there is no interview process for this position, and selection is based entirely on the results of the Mains exam, with 100% weightage given to the Mains exam score. To advance to the IBPS Clerk Mains, candidates must first qualify the IBPS Clerk Prelims.

The IBPS Clerk Main Exam for 2024 is scheduled to take place in October. This exam aims to measure the financial and logical approach of candidates.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Salary

The IBPS Clerk’s Salary is a significant factor that attracts many candidates to this position in the banking sector. The salary of a clerk varies based on the location and the bank to which they are assigned. Employees selected through this exam receive a salary according to the 7th Pay Commission and are also entitled to various allowances. 

Clerks remain on probation for six months, and as per IBPS guidelines, their basic pay is Rs. 19,900. The salary structure is subject to change based on government rules and regulations.
