RBI Assistant Recruitment Notification 2023 has been released by the Reserve Bank of India for the recruitment of ‘Assistant-2023’ in various offices of Reserve Bank of India. Online applications have been invited from interested & eligible candidates for the post of Assistant in RBI from 13 September to 4 October 2023.
Candidates for the post will undergo a selection process through a country-wide competitive examination comprising two phases: the Preliminary examination and the Main examination. Successful candidates must take a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) as part of the selection procedure.

The RBI has released the RBI Assistant Notification, which provides detailed eligibility criteria. These criteria typically cover factors such as nationality, age limits, and educational qualifications. Prior to submitting their applications, candidates must verify that they meet all the specified eligibility requirements for the advertised positions.

To apply for the RBI Assistant Exam 2023, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old, i.e. candidates must have been born between 02/09/1995 and 01/09/2003. (both dates inclusive)
Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will be entitled to get relaxation in age as per the provision made by the Reserve Bank of India.

The main examination comprises five sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness. The details for the same are mentioned below:-

Candidates provisionally selected after the main online examination will be required to participate in a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). RBI Assistant Result Link 2023 (Inactive)
The selected candidates will get their salary in the basic pay of ₹20,700 per month, following the pay scale of ₹20,700 – 1200 (3) – 24,300 – 1,440 (4) – 30,060 – 1,920 (6) – 41,580 – 2,080 (2) – 45,740 – 2,370 (3) – 52,850 – 2,850 (1) – 55,700. In addition to this, they will receive various allowances, as per applicable regulations.
The initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (excluding House Rent Allowance) for the Assistant position are estimated to be around ₹47,849. If the candidates do not reside in Bank-provided accommodation, they will also receive House Rent Allowance at a rate of 15% of their Pay.
