UGC NET Exam Date 2024 Announced: Check Exam Schedule

UGC NET June Exam Date has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) through the notice issued on 31 May 2024. According to the notice, The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 on 18 June 2024 in two shifts i.e. Shift – 1 (09:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Shift – 2 (03:00 PM to 06:00 PM).

UGC NET June 2024 is conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D and admission to Ph.D. only’ in 83 subjects in OMR mode using Pen and Paper. UGC NET June 2024 Exam Pattern

The UGC NET exam, administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the qualifying examination for positions as Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellow in various universities and colleges across India. Candidates preparing for the UGC NET 2024 should familiarize themselves with the exam pattern. Below is an outline of the examination pattern for both papers.

The exam spans three hours (180 minutes) and is conducted in a single session without any breaks. Each question in both papers carries a value of two marks, with candidates earning two marks for each correct answer. Apart from tests specific to languages, all question papers are available in either English or Hindi.
