The UPSC conducts a CAPF (AC) Examination annually, the selection process of which is divided into three stages, i.e. Written Exam, Physical Standard Test/Physical Endurance Test and Personality Test (Interview. Candidates taking the CAPF (AC) Examination in 2024 should check the important exam details in the table below.  

UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam Pattern 

The written exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

• Paper 1 will be conducted for 250 marks, and paper 2 will be conducted for 200 marks.
• There will be a penalty (negative marking) for a wrong answer marked by a candidate in Paper 1. For each incorrect answer given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. 
• There will be no negative marking in Paper 2.
