CUET UG Exam Date 2024 (Out): Check Subject-wise Exam Schedule
CUET UG 2024 Date has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) through the notice issued on 20 April 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to administer the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) from 15 to 24 May 2024. This test is a prerequisite for admission into undergraduate programmes at Central Universities overseen by the Ministry of Education, as well as other participating universities, institutions, organizations, and autonomous colleges.
The CUET (UG) - 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining computer-based testing (CBT) and pen-and-paper methods. Approximately 13.48 lakh candidates will take the test across various centres in 380 cities, including 26 international locations. For the CUET UG 2024, there will be a total of 63 test papers available. Each test will have a duration of 45 minutes, except for certain subjects. The subjects of Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test will each have an extended duration of 60 minutes.

CUET UG Exam Pattern 2024
The CUET UG Exam Date 2024 has been announced, and it's time for candidates to carefully review these dates and begin revising the curriculum. We provide details on the examination pattern for CUET UG 2024 below:
- The CUET UG 2024 examination is formatted with objective-type, multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Candidates can opt to take the exam in either a Computer-Based Test format or using Pen & Paper, making it a hybrid mode examination.
- Each correct answer will earn the candidate five points (+5), while one point (-1) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The examination will be available in 13 languages, including Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Punjabi, Tamil, Odia, Telugu, and Urdu.
- Candidates will need to answer 40 questions out of a possible 50 in each subject, including language papers.
- The standard test duration is set at 45 minutes. However, for subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test, the duration is extended to 60 minutes.
