UPSSSC PET Exam Dates 2023 Announced

UP PET Exam Dates 2023 have been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission. As per the notice issued by the commission on 4th September 2023, the UP PET Exam will take place on 28th and 29th October 2023. Candidates who have applied for the examination are advised to mark their calendars and start revising the study materials. 

UPSSSC PET Exam 2023

Annually, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducts the Pradesh Eligibility Test (PET) examination. Through PET, UPSSSC conducts an eligibility test for the recruitment of candidates for group C posts under various departments and institutions of Uttar Pradesh. Following the completion of the online registration process, candidates will be required to take the UPSSSC PET Exam 2023.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the exact date for the UPSSSC PET Exam Date 2023 on 04th September 2023. According to the timetable, the UPSSSC PET written examination is scheduled to take place on October 28th and 29th, 2023. UPSSSC PET Exam Overview 2023

Candidates who pass the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) will acquire the eligibility to participate in the Main Examination to be conducted by UPSSSC for various recruitment advertisements. 

The UPSSSC PET Exam is conducted for the recruitment of various Group  C positions such as UP Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and others. Candidates who appeared in this Exam will receive a scorecard, which will be essential to apply for the Main Exam for different posts. Based on the score obtained in the PET Exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.

UPSSSC PET Vacancy 2023

UPSSSC will soon announce the vacancy details and Main Exam dates for various Group C positions. Candidates who qualify the UPSSSC PET Exam can apply for the vacancies advertised by UPSSSC and will be required to appear in the Main Examination as decided by the UPSSSC. In the previous year, around 20,994 vacancies were announced for positions like Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant and others for the candidates who participated in the UPSSSC PET Exam 2022.

UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2023

The PET Admit Card will be available for candidates approximately 10 days before the exam date on the official website of UPSSSC. Candidates are required to download and obtain a physical copy of their admit cards, as the commission will not mail them individually. Follow these steps to download the admit card:

• Visit the official UPSSSC website.
• Click on the "Examination Interview" tab.
• Select the option to download the UPSSSC PET admit card.
• Provide the necessary information, and the admit card will be generated for you.
• Download the admit card and print it for future reference.

UPSSSC PET 2023 Selection Process

After UPSSSC PET 2023 scores are declared, only those candidates who perform well in this examination will be invited to participate in the main examinations for different Group C vacancies. It is essential to note that individuals who have not registered for UP PET 2023 will not be eligible to take part in the main exams for any available vacancies. The selection process for UPSSSC recruitment will include the following steps:

• Achieving the minimum qualifying marks in the PET written exam
• Main Exam as decided by UPSSSC
• Interview/Skill Test (if required)
• Completing the Document Verification process

UPSSSC PET 2023 Exam Pattern

As per the latest notice released for UP PET 2023, the exam pattern is as follows:

• The exam will be conducted in offline mode, i.e. OMR based objective-type test having multiple-choice questions.
• The exam will comprise 100 questions, and the exam duration is 2 hours.
• Incorrect answers carry a penalty of ¼ mark, i.e. (0.25) negative marking scheme will be applicable.
• Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. 
• Questions from the following topics numbered 1 to 9 will be of a difficulty level consistent with NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary standards.
