The UPSSSC released the official notification on 04 August 2023 through advertisement no. 08/2023. The UP subordinate service selection commission (UPSSSC) will recruit candidates for the various posts. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission released 3831 vacancies (General Recruitment 3736 and Special Recruitment 63) for the posts of Junior Assistants. Which is now revised to 5512 vacancies by the commission on 22 September 2023.

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ against the UPSSSC Junior Assistant Notification (08/2023).
Step 3: Click on ‘Submit Application’ on the next page. Read the instructions and proceed further.
Step 4: Complete the Candidate Authentication with PET 2022 score. Candidates can log in using OTP or Personal Details and complete the authentication process.
Step 5: The candidate’s details submitted during registration for PET 2022 will be displayed automatically. Enter all other required details correctly and complete the application form.
Step 6: Submit a scanned copy of your photograph and your signature, along with any other required documents, as per the format prescribed.
Step 7: Read the declaration carefully and click on the checkbox.
Step 8: Pay the application processing fee of ₹ 25 and submit the application form.

For the final submission of the application form, candidates need to pay the Application Fee specified by the UP Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC). For this examination, candidates need to pay a processing fee. All categories are exempted from the junior assistant application fee. The processing fee is non-refundable, so it is advisable to fill out your application form carefully and pay the application processing fee accordingly.

The UP subordinate service selection commission (UPSSSC) has set a selection process which every candidate has to follow. Candidates who successfully qualify at all stages will be appointed as junior assistants in the various departments of state government. The selection process for UPSSSC Junior assistant is as follows:
Written examination: The written exam comprises 100 marks., and the duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called to take a typing test.
Typing test: The typing test is qualifying in nature, and every candidate must have a typing speed of 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Hindi. After clearing the typing test, candidates will be called for document verification.
Document verification: After successfully writing the exam and typing the test, candidates will go through the document verification round. In document verification, 35 marks will be allotted to the sports and higher qualifications.
The written examination is divided into five parts, where the social and problem-solving skills of candidates are assessed. It is important for candidates to analyse the exam pattern thoroughly. It gives the candidates a brief idea about the actual examination. Total 100 questions consisting of one mark each will be asked in the written examination and there is also a provision for negative marking. The junior assistant syllabus provides a detailed analysis of topics from which the questions will be asked in the examination. By deeply evaluating the syllabus, candidates can plan their study plan accordingly. Hindi Knowledge and Writing Ability
Questions will be designed to test the candidates’ knowledge of the Hindi language and their ability to understand and write. (This question paper will be of the level of Intermediate Examination of Secondary Education Council, U.P.).
General Intelligence Tests
The purpose of this test is to assess the ability to understand and reason about a new situation and analyse and identify its various elements. This test will have questions which will be based on intellectual activities like understanding instructions, finding relationships, similarities and analogies, drawing conclusions and so on.
General Knowledge
This part of the question paper is intended to assess the candidate's general awareness of the environment around him and his ability to use it in society. Such questions will also be kept in this test, which can be used to assess the knowledge of such contemporary events and facts that are visible and experienced every day, which may also include historical and geographical facts (especially related to India) and their scientific aspects, which can be expected from any educated person.
Concepts and latest developments in the field of Computer & Information Technology
Candidates will be asked questions on computers and information technology in this section of the exam including e-governance information, spreadsheet, e-mail, hardware, software, operating system, social networking, digital financial tools and applications, Introduction of Internet and the World Wide Web (WWW). An overview of future skills and cyber security, based on the elements of word processing and technological developments and innovations in the field of computer and information technology (Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Big Data Processing, Internet of Things) and in this area Questions will be asked related to the achievements of India.
General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh
In this part of the question paper, candidates should have specific knowledge of Uttar Pradesh-History, Culture, Art, Folk Dance, Literature, Heritage, Architecture, Festivals, Social Customs and Regional Languages, and Tourism, Geographical Landscape and Environment, Soil, Forest, Wildlife, Natural Resources; Questions will be asked on Climate, Economy of Uttar Pradesh, Mines and Minerals, Business, Employment, Polity, Agriculture, Industry and Administration as well as current affairs and achievements in several domains by the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The junior assistant appointed in government departments of Uttar will get a decent salary. The grade of a junior assistant is ₹ 2000, and apart from this, junior assistants get many allowances from the government. Allowance includes HRA, DA, TA and medical facilities. The Junior Assistant admit card will be made available ten days before the date of examination by the UP subordinate service selection commission. After the actual examination, candidates were waiting for the UPSSSC junior assistant result. The board usually releases the result one or two months after the exam. To check the results, follow these steps:
