Rest of India won its 30th Irani Cup title, as they beat the 2022-23 Ranji Champion Saurashtra by 175 runs on the fourth day of the Irani Cup. The Irani Cup was played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, Gujarat, from 1-3 October 2023.
The Irani trophy is a curtain raiser of the domestic cricket season in India. It is played between the reigning Ranji Trophy champion team and the Rest of India team.
The Rest of India was led by Hanuma Vihari, while the Saurashtra team was led by Jaydev Unadkat.
