Knowing the SSC MTS Syllabus and Exam Pattern is very important for candidates preparing for the SSC MTS & Havaldar exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar Examination every year to recruit eligible candidates for Group C posts in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India.
The selection for these posts is done in two stages for the Havaldar post and one stage for the MTS post. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is compulsory for both MTS and Havaldar posts, while the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are conducted only for Havaldar in CBIC & CBN. The CBT is further divided into two parts, i.e., Session I and Session II, covering subjects such as Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, and English Language.
Candidates who are going to appear in the upcoming SSC MTS Exam 2025 must understand the updated exam pattern and detailed syllabus for each subject. Understanding the structure of both sessions of the CBT, the marking scheme, and the subject-wise topics will help you plan a systematic preparation strategy and manage time more effectively.
