SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS Exam every year. The Commission detailed the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria through the official notification of SSC MTS Recruitment. Individuals who meet the SSC MTS eligibility criteria can complete the online application form. Age, educational qualification, nationality, and physical test are all part of the SSC MTS exam eligibility criteria. An application will be denied if the candidate fails to meet the qualifying conditions at any stage of the SSC MTS selection process.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must carefully check the SSC MTS eligibility criteria while filling out the SSC MTS application form and ensure that they meet the Staff Selection Commission's eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS exam. All of the components of the SSC MTS eligibility criteria are detailed below:

SSC MTS Nationality

According to the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff eligibility conditions, aspirants applying for the SSC MTS exam must be citizens of India or meet any of the nationality criteria listed below:

  • Subject of Bhutan, or
  • Subject of Nepal, or
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, may stay in India or return home.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC MTS Age Criteria 

  • Candidates must be between the age groups stipulated by the SSC for the SSC MTS. MTS applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
  • The age limit for Havaldar in CBN and CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few MTS posts is 18-27 years.

SSC MTS Age Relaxation:-

Candidates must present legitimate paperwork to be eligible for the age relaxation, which varies depending on caste and other physical problems. It's vital to understand that age relaxation only applies to the maximum age restriction, not the lower. This means that regardless of their category, all candidates must be at least 18 years old. The following information about age relaxation is provided:

PwD (SC/ST):

Ex-Servicemen (ESM):

03 years after subtracting military service from real age as of the closing date of receipt of the online application.

Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women

judicially separated and who are not

remarried (SC/ ST).

Up to 40 years of age.

Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women

judicially separated and who are not

remarried.

Up to 35 years of age.


 

Note: It is important to remember that the applicant must receive the benefit of reservation if he or she has a minimum of 40% disability in the case of being physically handicapped.

A concession to a Central Government employee would be granted either in the PH category or in the Central Government employee category.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification 

The grades obtained in the SSC MTS qualification exam are a crucial aspect in determining a candidate's eligibility for the exam. Those who have completed the 10th grade from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the SSC MTS examination. Candidates who are taking their 10th-grade exam can also apply for the SSC MTS. Those taking the 10th-grade exams must bring the necessary documentation to the Document Verification.

The physical criteria for the SSC MTS examination are as follows:

Candidates with specific disabilities may apply for SSC MTS if they meet the physical test requirements. Check the official SSC MTS notification for the list of acceptable disabilities for the SSC MTS examination.

SSC Eligibility Criteria for PwD Candidate

The eligibility standards for persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) vary based on the nature and amount of their condition, and candidates must have a certificate to be eligible. Individuals with a physical impairment must generally meet certain criteria in order to qualify for benefits. If you come under the PwBD category, you must have a valid certificate of a minimum of 40% disability. Candidates with physical disabilities must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • One leg (ON) and one arm (OA) are afflicted.
  • One leg and one arm (OAL) were afflicted.
  • Both legs are damaged, but the arm is not (BL).
  • Blindness (B) and Low Vision (LV)
  • (H) Hearing
  • Communication (c) is a qualification for multitasking staff positions.
