SSC Stenographer registration last date 2026 has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission through the SSC Stenographer notification 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their SSC Stenographer Form 2026 till 15 May 2026. Candidates are required to follow the procedure below to submit their SSC Stenographer Online Application Form 2026:-

The SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of two stages:
The Computer-Based Examination (CBT) will be MCQ-based, having 200 questions for 200 marks. Except for the English language section, the CBT questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
Candidates will get shortlisted for the skill test based on their performance in the computer-based test. The board will conduct a skill test that will only be qualifying in nature. Candidates should know that the skill test is mandatory, and those who do not take it will not be considered for the final selection.
Final Selection: The final selection and assignment to the various Ministries/Departments under SSC Stenographer Recruitment will include the CBT score and the candidate's preference of Post/Department.

The admit cards were issued by the Staff Selection Commission 2 days prior to the SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2026 on the website of the concerned Regional Office of the commission. Check out the following points to learn more about the SSC Stenographer Admit Card.
SSC Steno Admit Card can only be downloaded and printed from the official website. Candidates must have relevant information like Username/Registration Number, Password/Date of Birth etc. Candidates should know that the SSC will not send a hard copy of their admit card to their home address.

Candidates should also remember that the SSC Stenographer Admit Card is the most important document, as no candidate will be admitted to the exam without it.
In addition to the Admission Certificate (Admit Card), you must bring at least two passport-size recent colour photographs, as well as original valid photo-ID proof with your date of birth as it appears on the Admission Certificate, such as-

SSC Stenographer Answer Key 2026 will be issued by the Staff Selection Commission after the successful completion of the SSC Stenographer exam 2026. SSC Steno Answer Key 2026 will contain the correct answers to each question asked in the exam, and candidates will be allowed to raise their challenges against it in the specified time by paying Rs 50/- per question, which is non-refundable.
All representations submitted regarding the answer keys will be carefully examined by subject experts before finalizing them. The Commission’s decision in this matter will be final. The final answer keys will be used to prepare the results of the Computer-Based Examination and will be published on the Commission’s website after the result declaration.
