SSC Stenographer Skill Test Date 2025 has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) through the notice issued on 29 December 2025. SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025 (Skill Test) is scheduled to take place on 28 and 29 January 2026. Earlier, the SSC Stenographer CBT was conducted from 6 to 8 August 2025, and the results for the same were declared on 29 November 2025. 

SSC Stenographer 2025 will be conducted for those who have successfully cleared the SSC Stenographer CBT 2025. A total of 31,080 candidates have been shortlisted for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Skill Test based on their performance. SSC Stenographer Skill Test Pattern 2025

SSC Stenographer 2025 will be conducted on 28 and 29 January 2025. Candidates who have shortlisted for the SSC Steno Skill Test will appear in this test, where they will receive a single dictation of 10 minutes (in their chosen language, either English or Hindi). The speed of dictation will vary depending on the Grade. 

• Stenographer Grade C: 100 words per minute (w.p.m.)
• Stenographer Grade D: 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) 

After the dictation, candidates must transcribe the content on a computer within the prescribed transcription time.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test Admit Card 2025 will soon be issued by the SSC on its official website and candidates can download their SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2025 by following these steps:-

1. Firstly, visit the official Staff Selection Commission’s website.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Admit Cards” tab.
3. Now click on “Download (Skill Test) E-Admit Card for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025” Link.
4. You will be redirected to the login window. Enter your Registration Number, Password, and the captcha code shown on the screen.
5. Once logged in, your SSC Stenographer Admit Card will appear. Download the SSC Stenographer Skill Test Admit Card 2025 and take a printout for future reference.
