How to Prepare for Air Force After 10th/ 12th

NDA Exams

National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination is the direct path to becoming an officer in the Indian Air Force right after completing the 12th standard. The UPSC NDA exam, conducted biannually, screens candidates for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. To apply for the UPSC NDA, you should be between 16.5 and 19.5 Years old. After passing the NDA Written Test, candidates proceed to the SSB interview, followed by a medical evaluation and training.

Airforce X Group

For those interested in Airmen roles, the Agniveer Vayu Intake Exam is an option. The Indian Air Force X Group requires technical knowledge. Candidates must pass the Indian Air Force Online Test, followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-II and a Medical Test. The Airforce X Group Age Limit is 21 Years as candidates must not exceed 21 Years of age as of the enrollment date.

Airforce Y Group

For those inclined toward Airmen roles, the Indian Airforce Y Group option is also available. Group Y is open to candidates from non-technical backgrounds. Candidates must pass the Indian Air Force Online Test, followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-II, and a Medical Test. The Airforce Y Group Age Limit is 21 Years, meaning candidates must not exceed 21 Years of age as of the enrollment date.

Indian Airforce Group X Y Exam Pattern
