SSC CGL Exam Date 2024 Announced: Check CGL Tier 1 Date
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Date was announced by the Staff Selection Commission through the notice issued on 8 August 2024. According to the SSC CGL Exam Date 2024 Notice, the Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024(Tier-I) from 9 to 26 September 2024. Those who have applied for the SSC CGL 2024 Exam should mark the SSC CGL Exam Date 2024 in their calendar and plan their study schedule accordingly.
The commission will open a window for application form corrections on 10 August 2024, for candidates who have applied for the SSC CGL Recruitment 2024. If you need to make any corrections or changes to your submitted application form, you can use this correction window. Please note that requests for changes received after 11 August 2024, at 23:00 hours will not be accepted.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Exam Date 2024 is announced for Tier 1. Those who are preparing to appear in the SSC CGL Tier 1 should be familiar with the CGL Exam Pattern. In this section, we are providing SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024 for your reference:-
- Tier I of the SSC CGL Exam will feature 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions, totaling 200 marks.
- All questions, except for those in English Comprehension, will be available in both English and Hindi.
- Each incorrect answer will incur a penalty of 0.50 marks (negative marking).
- Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the exam, while those eligible for scribes will be allotted 80 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card 2024
The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card in September 2024, approximately 3-7 days before the exam date. You can download and print the admit card from the Regional SSC website (from where you filled out the application form). Please note that the SSC will not send physical copies of the admit card to candidates. Ensure you have your Username/Registration Number, Password/Date of Birth, and other relevant details handy.
To download your SSC CGL Tier-I Admit Card, follow these steps:
- Visit the regional SSC website.
- Locate the "SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card 2024" link under the Latest News section and click on it.
- A new window will open where you will need to enter your credentials (Registration Number/Password) and the captcha code.
- Click "Submit" to obtain your SSC CGL Admit Card.
- Print both the Admit Card and the candidate's Instructions page.
Remember, the SSC CGL Admit Card is a crucial document for entry into the exam; without it, you will not be allowed to sit for the test.
