SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Date 2025 (Out): Tier 1 Result Declared

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Date 2025 has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission through the notice issued on 19 December 2025. The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Examination 2025 was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 12 September to 26 September 2025. Additionally, a re-examination took place on 14 October 2025 at multiple examination centres nationwide. On 18 December 2025, the commission declared the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025. 

SSC CGL Tier 2 is scheduled to take place on 18 and 19 January 2026. Candidates who have successfully cleared the SSC CGL Tier 1 are eligible to appear in the SSC CGL Tier 2 2025. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Schedule 2025

SSC CGL Tier 2 2025 will take place in January 2026. A total of 139395 candidates have been shortlisted to appear in the SSC CGL Tier 2 for Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade-II and other advertised positions by SSC through the SSC CGL Exam. SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2025

SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2025 will be issued in January 2025 and candidates who are eligible to appear in the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam can download the admit card by following the steps below:-

1. Visit SSC’s official website.
2. On the homepage, select the “Admit Card” tab from the top navigation bar.
3. Find and click on the link titled “STATUS / DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD FOR Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-2), 2025 (Scheduled from 18th to 19th January 2026)”.
4. Enter your Roll Number or Registration ID along with your Date of Birth or Password used during the registration process.
5. After submitting the required details, the SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2025 will appear on the screen.
6. Download the SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2025 and print a copy to bring with you to the exam centre.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025

SSC CGL Tier 2 will be conducted for those who cleared the SSC CGL Tier 1 2025. Tier II is the most crucial phase of the SSC CGL examination, as the scores secured in this stage are used to prepare the final merit list and decide the cut-off marks. The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and is divided into two papers:

• Paper I is mandatory for all candidates, while Paper II is applicable only to candidates applying for specific posts such as JSO and AAO.
• Paper I is divided into three sections, all of which are compulsory to attempt. Among these, Section III is qualifying in nature.

• In Paper I, 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer in Section I, Section II, and Module I of Section III.
• In Paper II, 0.5 marks are deducted for every wrong response.
