(b) Must be a citizen of Nepal, or

(c) Must be a citizen of Bhutan, or

(d) Must be a Tibetan refugee who entered India before 1 January 1962, with the intent of permanent settlement, or

(e) Must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Burma, or the East African nations of Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania (previously known as Tanzania and Zanzibar), Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, or Ethiopia, intending to settle permanently in India, provided they have successfully relocated to India.

Note: Candidates from categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must present a certificate of eligibility issued by the Home and Justice Department of the Government of India.

Age Limit

Relaxation Age

Educational Qualification

Candidates interested in applying for the Village Development Officer recruitment must meet the educational qualifications. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government, along with proficiency in Devanagari script (written in Hindi) and familiarity with the culture of Rajasthan.

• An “O” level certificate or higher, issued by the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) under the Department of Electronics, Government of India.
• Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) or Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
• Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a university established by law or recognized by the government.
• Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the government.
• Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology (RS-CIT) provided by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, under the supervision of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

RSSB VDO Result 2025

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board will release the marks for the Rajasthan VDO Examination 2025 following the examination, as per the schedule outlined in the RSSB VDO Notification. Here are the steps to download the RSSB VDO Result 2025:

RSSB VDO 2025 Exam Cut-off 

The RSSB VDO Cut-off Marks will be announced along with the Rajasthan VDO Exam Result. These cut-off marks represent the minimum scores that candidates must obtain to proceed to the next stages of the selection process. RSSB VDO 2025 Salary

Candidates are encouraged to understand the salary and grade pay for the Village Development Officer (VDO) position in Rajasthan before applying to get a clear idea of the job's benefits. The expected basic pay for selected candidates is set at INR 20,800/- under Matrix Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission. An additional Grade Pay of INR 2,400/- is included in the salary package based on Matrix Level 06.

The candidates will be compensated according to the Pay Band PB-1 on Rajasthan's 7th Pay Matrix Level 6. After completing the probation period, the Rajasthan VDO in 2025 is anticipated to receive an approximate salary of INR 24,380/-. This results in an annual VDO salary of approximately INR 2,92,560/-.
