The Rajasthan Public Service Commission will recruit candidates for 140 vacant posts of junior legal officers. Aspirants have to qualify in all the stages of the selection process to become Junior Law Officers in the law and legal affairs department of Rajasthan. The selection process is as follows:
Written examination: Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility criteria like educational and age limit will go under written examination. In written examination, the legal and social knowledge of candidates are to be measured.
Interview: Candidates who successfully qualify the written examination will be called to appear in the physical interview. The interview stage consists of 25 marks. The marks scored in this stage will be considered for preparing the merit list.
Document verification: After qualifying the two stages, i.e. written exam and interview, candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates must provide their official ID proofs and other identity and address proofs asked by the board.
The written examination of JLO, is conducted to evaluate candidates' knowledge and their command over legal subjects. It consists of objective-type questions covering various subjects such as general languages, directive principles, functioning of the high court and supreme court, evidence act, limitation Act, etc. The difficulty level of the questions will be that of a bachelor's degree.

Note: The written exam will be conducted in four parts, in which 3 papers consist of law-related subjects and one paper will consist of language-based exams.
The exam duration for each exam section is 3 hours and candidates must secure 40% to qualify the written examination.
The syllabus for the RPSC JLO exam covers various subjects, including English and Hindi language and legal subjects.
