Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued a recruitment notification for a total of 5388 posts. This comprises a total of 5190 positions for Junior Accountants and an additional 198 openings for Tehsil Revenue Accountants. This recruitment is the biggest recruitment of the year 2023 of RSSB. RSMSSB Junior Accountant Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for Junior Accountant Recruitment, candidates must fulfill certain Junior Accountant eligibility criteria & Tehsil Revenue Accountant eligibility criteria set by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Candidates should thoroughly review the official notification to understand the eligibility criteria, which typically encompass age limits, nationality and educational qualification standards.

Nationality

(a) The candidate is a citizen of India, or 

(b) As a subject of Nepal, or 

(c) As a subject of Bhutan, or 

(d) They are included in the category of Tibetan refugees who came and settled in India before 1 January 1962, or

(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tangania and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia for permanent settlement in India. 

Note:- Candidates falling under categories (d) and (e) must have the appropriate certificate of eligibility from the Department of Home and Justice, Government of India. 

Age limit 

Aspirants wishing to appear for the junior accountant recruitment exam should come under the age limit set by the board. The age limit of the candidates willing to apply for the Accountant exam should be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years.

Educational Qualification

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has established specific educational qualification criteria for candidates interested in the Junior Accountant exam:

(i) Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

  • A graduate degree from a recognized board.
  • Successful completion of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Intermediate Examination in Kolkata.
  • Passing the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in New Delhi.
  • Possession of a DOEACC "O" or higher-level certificate conducted by NIELIT.
  • Completion of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (C.O.P.A.) / Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificates under the National / State Council of Vocational Training Scheme.
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Application / Computer Science / Information Technology from a government-recognized institution or university in India.
  • A diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science and Electronics from a recognized Polytechnic Institution under the Government.
  • Successful completion of a Certificate Course in Information Technology conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited, affiliated with Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University Kota (National Institute of Technology, Kota).

(ii) Proficiency in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan's culture are required.

(iii) Candidates in the final year of a qualifying course for the post mentioned in these rules or for direct recruitment are eligible to apply for vacant posts, provided they can provide proof of obtaining the required educational qualification to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board.

Note: Only candidates who have qualified in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) are eligible to appear in this exam.

RSMSSB Junior Accountant Apply Online

The application form for Junior Accountant Recruitment can be filled through the prescribed E-Mitra Kiosk/Jan Suvidha Kendra of the state. The procedure to apply online is as follow:-

  1. To apply online, the candidates have to visit the Board's online portal https://rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in or https://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in
  2. Select the Citizen Apps (G2C) after logging in to the recruitment portal.
  3. Click on "Apply Now." If you haven't paid the one-time registration fee (OTR), provide your category, disability status, and home state details in the OTR section and complete the payment.
  4. After the OTR process, enter your CET (Graduation) online application number (Application No.).
  5. The application form will open once you enter the application number and SSO ID of the CET (Graduation) examination.
  6. Your online application form for this recruitment, with information from the CET (Graduation) application, will be displayed.
  7. Please note that certain details like your name, father's name, mother's name, category, disability category, gender, date of birth, photo, and signature cannot be modified in your online application.
  8. Once you have finalized your application, the system will generate your online application number.

Application Fee 

Reserved category aspirants will be exempted from the application fee, and those candidates belonging to general and other backward classes whose annual income is below Rs. 2,50,000 will also be exempted from the RSMSSB Junior accountant application fee. On the other hand, for general and creamy layer candidates belonging to other backward classes, the examination fee will be payable in full. Note: 1. The question paper will primarily be based on the Senior Secondary level curriculum, with the exception of the fundamentals of Mathematics and Computer, which will be at the Secondary level.

2. Provision regarding intransitive marks for Junior Accountant Minimum 35% marks in Paper I & Paper II each and 40% in aggregate. However, relaxation in minimum marks up to 5% will be applicable for SC/ ST category candidates.
