Government announces 70th National Film Awards 2022 winner’s List Award and Honour 4 min read

The 70th National Film Awards for the year 2022 were announced on 16 August 2024. The head of the jury for the various segments of the National Film Awards presented the list of winners of the 70th National Film Awards to the Union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi

Rahul Rawail was the Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury, Nila Madhab Panda was the  Chairperson of the Non-Feature Film Jury and Gangadhar Mudalair was the Chairperson of the Best Writing on Cinema Jury.

The films which were made in 2022 were considered for the awards. The winners will be conferred the award in a ceremony to be hosted by the ministry later on.

  • Best Male Playback Singer -Arijit Singh for the film Brahmastra
