SSC JE Recruitment 2023 Application Process

Candidates will be recruited for the position of junior engineers by the staff selection commission (SSC). The candidates selected through the SSC JE exam 2023 will be appointed in the different ministries of the central government. The SSC usually recruits candidates in Mechanical, civil and electrical engineering. Candidates will be recruited in Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial in Level 6 posts. The staff selection commission (SSC) released a notification on 26th July for junior engineers (JE) vacancies. Candidates will be recruited to the different ministries of the central government. Candidates from Mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering can apply for this recruitment examination. SSC JE 2023 Apply Online 

Candidates willing to work under the central ministries at the junior engineer (JE) posts should appear in the SSC JE exam 2023. The staff selection commission released a notification on 26th July 2023. On the official website of the SSC, online application forms have been made available from 26 July to 16 August. Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment exam till 16th August 2023. Candidates can apply online for SSC JE recruitment 2023 as stated in the following steps: 

Step 1: Visit SSC’s official website at https://ssc.nic.in/ 

Step 2: Navigate to the apply button and click on it. 

Step 3: If you are a new user, then you have to create your profile. A registration ID will be assigned to you. 

Step 4: After creating a profile, click on the JE button. 

Step 5: Click on Apply for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2023. 

Step 6: Now, log in using your registration number and password, verify all the details mentioned in the form and click on submit button. 

Step 7: Candidates must upload a Photograph and scanned signature in JPEG / JPG format. 

Step 8: Pay the application fee (if applied) and submit your application form. 

Step 9: Your application form will be submitted. Take a printout of it. 

Note: Before submitting your application form, candidates must check a few things, so their form will not get rejected. Candidates should check the following things when submitting their application form, as follows: 

  • JPEG or JPG format should be used for passport-size photos (20 KB to 50 KB). The photo's picture size should be around 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm high. The photograph should not be older than three months at the time of application. 
  • Scanned signatures should be uploaded in JPEG /JPG format (10 to 20 KB). The signature's image should be around 4.0 cm wide by 2.0 cm high. Applications with blurred signatures will be rejected. 

SSC JE 2023 Application Fees 

Thousands of candidates usually appear in the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) examination 2023. The staff selection commission has set a certain amount of application fee for the candidates. It is not applicable to candidates belonging to the reserved category. The application fee is non-refundable, so fill out the form precisely. The application fee for SSC JE recruitment 2023 is as follows:
