SSC JE Vacancy 2025-26: Check Post-wise SSC Junior Engineer Vacancy

SSC JE Vacancy 2025 has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 28 February 2026. Initially, a total of 1340 vacancies were announced through the SSC JE Notification 2025-26. Later, on 5 August 2025, the Commission revised the SSC JE Vacancy count and increased it to 1731 posts. Now, on 26 February 2026, the Commission has released an official notice regarding the Tentative SSC JE Exam 2025 Vacancies. While the total number of vacancies remains unchanged at 1731, there have been slight revisions in the category-wise vacancy distribution for various posts. 

Earlier, a total of 93 vacancies were announced for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. As per the latest notice, this number has now been increased to 127 vacancies, providing greater opportunities for EWS candidates. On the other hand, the Unreserved (UR) category previously had 814 vacancies, which have now been revised to 780 vacancies in the updated distribution.

How to Check SSC JE Result 2025?

SSC JE Paper 1 2025 was successfully conducted in December 2025, and now the commission will soon declare the SSC Junior Engineer Result 2025. Candidates who will clear the SSC JE Tier 1 2025-26 will be eligible to appear in the SSC JE Tier 2 2025. Once the SSC Result 2025 is out, candidates can download it by following the steps below:-

1. Access the official website of the Staff Selection Commission to proceed further.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Results” section available in the top menu.
3. You will be redirected to a new page, locate and select the link that reads “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2025 (Paper 1)- List of Shortlisted Candidates in Roll No Order for Paper 2 and Further Selection Process.”
4. The SSC JE Final Result 2025 PDF will open on your screen.
5. Press Ctrl + F and enter your Name or Roll Number to find your result quickly.
6. If your details appear in the list, it means you have been shortlisted for Paper 2 and further stages of the selection process.
