The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC JE Final Result 2026 on 09 July 2026 for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2025. The result has been released in the form of the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA), under which 1,731 candidates have been provisionally recommended against the notified vacancies. Candidates can now download the result PDF to check the merit list, provisional department allocation, and post-wise cut-off details. Shortlisted candidates must also complete the newly introduced Sliding Mechanism, including Identity Verification (IV) and the FIX/FLOAT option, as per the schedule announced by SSC.Â
The SSC JE Final Result 2026 has been prepared based on candidates' combined performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Before declaring the result, SSC reviewed the objections received against the Paper 2 tentative answer key and used the final answer key for evaluation. A total of 15,607 candidates qualified Paper 1, while 14,062 candidates appeared in Paper 2. Based on the notified vacancies and candidates' online post preferences, 1,731 candidates have been provisionally recommended under the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA).Â

The commission has published the post-wise and category-wise marks of the last allocated candidate along with the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) result. These marks serve as the cut-off for different posts and departments under the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2025.
Since the allocation has been made separately for various departments and categories, the cut-off marks differ for each post. The official result PDF includes the total marks, Paper II marks, Paper I marks, and other details of the last allocated candidate for every post and category. Candidates shortlisted in the First Round of Tentative Allocation must complete the next stage of the recruitment process within the prescribed timeline. Candidates shortlisted in the FRTA must participate in this process by selecting their preferred venue, date, and time slot through the SSC login portal. During Identity Verification, candidates will be required to exercise either the FIX or FLOAT option.
