CET stands for Common Eligibility Test for Haryana Government Jobs, which is conducted for the selection of posts such as Clerk, Gram Sachiv, Patwari, etc. The examination is conducted on an annual basis, and candidates who have passed the 10th or 12th grade and fulfill the remaining eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the examination. Haryana CET Vacancy For Group D 

CET Haryana has announced a grand total of 13,536 vacancies for Group D positions. It is important for candidates to keep an eye on the official website of the HSSC for any updates or changes in the schedule. As the commission has already said, the number of posts is tentative and may be increased or decreased by the commission upon receipt of a requisition/revised requisition until the date of declaration of final result. 

Haryana CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the HSSC CET 2023, candidates should know the Haryana CET Eligibility Criteria to check if they are eligible to apply for the vacancies or not. Nationality

Age Limit

Relaxation Age

Educational Qualification 

To be eligible for the HSSC CET Group D positions, candidates are required to have completed the 10th standard from a recognized board or institution and possess knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to the matriculation level, which is a mandatory requirement. 

Note:- This requirement is applicable to all Group-D posts, with the exception of positions like Sweepers, Chowkidar, and Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar.

Haryana CET 2023 Application Process

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the CET Group D Haryana by visiting the official website of the HSSC. Prior to submitting the application form, it is essential for candidates to thoroughly review and adhere to the instructions provided by the Commission. Here we are providing the steps to fill HSSC CET application form:-

Step 1: Visit the Online Recruitment Portal of Haryana (as provided in the link section).

Step 2: Fill in your name, email address, phone number, and a 6-digit captcha code on the newly opened page.

Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; input this OTP to log in successfully.

Step 4: Subsequently, a new registration number and password will be generated and emailed to you.

Step 5: You can log in by using your registration number and password.

Step 6: Complete all the required information on the application form.

Step 7: Upload a scanned photograph and signature in the specified format.

Step 8: Pay the necessary HSSC CET application fees based on your category.

Step 9: Once you've successfully submitted the HSSC CET application, make sure to save a printout of the submitted form and the fee confirmation page for your records.

Haryana CET 2023 Selection Process

Candidates for Group D posts, where the minimum educational requirement is Matriculation, will be selected and recommended based on the Common Eligibility Test (CET) score and socioeconomic factors. The CET score will encompass both CET marks and socioeconomic criteria.

Explanation:-

1. ‘CET marks' represent the marks earned by an applicant in the CET.
2. 'CET score' refers to the CET marks combined with the marks for socioeconomic criteria weightage.
3. 'Total of CET marks' is the sum of the maximum CET marks and the maximum socioeconomic criteria weightage.
4. For the Common Eligibility Test, the marks are divided into two parts: (i) 75% is allocated for General awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English, Hindi, and relevant or concerned subject(s), as applicable. (ii) 25% is designated for topics like Haryana's History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Environment, Culture, and so on.
5. For Group D positions, the question paper will cover content at the secondary education (Matriculation) level.
6. Social, economic, and experience categories may receive a maximum of five marks.

Haryana CET Exam Pattern 2023

• CET will be conducted in an offline/OMR based.
• The examination will be conducted bilingually.

Haryana CET Score Validity

The scores of the HSSC CET are valid for a period of 3 years from the date of the CET results declaration. During the validity period, candidates have the option to apply for any Group D post offered by the Haryana Government. The CET scores, which encompass the results of the Common Eligibility Test and additional marks allocated for experience and socioeconomic criteria (when relevant), collectively determine a candidate's eligibility and ranking.

Haryana  CET 2023 Process of Recruitment

To be qualified for the recruiting procedure, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% (unreserved) and 40% (reserved) marks. The Commission will get in touch with candidates whose names are listed on the CET Result merit list in order to fill the vacancies for Group C and D positions. The commission will seek the candidate's approval before appointing them to the required positions. The selection of applicants for shortlisting is determined by the following criteria:

• When the number of vacancies is less than 30, the selection process will involve calling five times the number of vacancies to shortlist candidates. 
• If the number of vacancies falls between 30 and 50, 150 CET-qualified candidates will be summoned for the selection process.
• If the number of candidates exceeds 50, the number of positions is multiplied by three.
