Haryana CET Group C Eligibility Criteria 2023

Nationality

Applications are open to all Indian citizens, including both residents of Haryana and non-Haryana residents, who fulfil the essential eligibility criteria for Group C and non-gazetted positions through the Haryana CET exam. Age Limit & Relaxation

To apply for HSSC CET 2023, candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years, and the maximum age limit is set at 42 years. Age relaxation is applicable only to candidates who belong to reserved or special categories as per the government's rules and regulations. Candidates with an initial upper age limit of 42 years, without any age relaxation, may be granted an extension up to 52 years under specific conditions for those eligible for age relaxation in one or more categories. Educational Qualification

Before submitting the application form, it is crucial for applicants to thoroughly review and follow the instructions provided by the Commission. 1. Visit the Online Recruitment Portal of Haryana.
2. Enter your name, email address, phone number, and a 6-digit captcha code on the newly opened page.
3. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; input this OTP for a successful login.
4. Following that, a fresh registration number and password will be created and sent to your email address.
5. Log in using your registration number and password.
6. Complete all the required information on the application form.
7. Submit a scanned photograph and signature in the designated format. Make the required payment for the HSSC CET application fees corresponding to your category.
8. After successfully submitting the HSSC CET application, ensure to save a printout of the submitted form and the fee confirmation page for your records.

• All questions in the examination are mandatory.
• The question paper is bilingual and presented in both English and Hindi.
• Incorrect answers will not result in any negative marking.
• The total number of questions is 100 and each question carries a weightage of 0.975 marks.
• Candidates are required to choose one option out of five provided for each question.
• An additional five minutes are allocated for marking the fifth option, especially for candidates uncertain about the answer.
• The total time allowed for the examination is 105 minutes (100 minutes for answering questions and an additional 5 minutes for marking).
• If a candidate chooses not to answer any of the five options for a question, 0.975 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question.
