9th National Anubhav Awards 2026 to Be Held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) will organise the 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony along with the 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling (PRC) Workshop at Vigyan Bhawan on August 17. Both events will be held under the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh, to honour outstanding public servants and guide retiring employees through pension-related processes.

Dr Jitendra Singh will confer the 9th National Anubhav Awards 2026 on 15 selected awardees

A total of 15 awardees will be honoured this year for their contributions to major government initiatives. Their work spans areas such as strengthening Passport Seva Kendra services, updating outdated administrative rules, promoting technological adoption in administration and accounting, and supporting energy conservation efforts.

About the Anubhav Platform

Anubhav is a platform that allows retiring and retired employees of the Central Government, 12 Public Sector Banks, and Central Public Sector Enterprises to document and share their professional experiences. The idea is to preserve valuable institutional knowledge built up over years of service, while also formally recognising employees for their contributions to public administration.

60th PRC Workshop

The 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop will primarily benefit Central government employees retiring in the National Capital Region. It will offer guidance on retirement procedures and help ensure timely disbursement of pension benefits. As part of the event, 17 pension-disbursing banks will also showcase their services for retiring employees.

Release of Handbook on Pension Mitra and Guidelines

The event will see the release of the Handbook on Pension Mitra, along with guidelines for the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5. Together, these resources are meant to simplify pension procedures and make retirement-related services more accessible to employees.
