The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS Exam) is a National-level examination that is held twice a year to select candidates for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (IAF), and Officer Training Academy (OTA). UPSC is the organisation which is entrusted with the administration of this examination.
A written test is used to select candidates, followed by an SSB interview for intelligence and personality tests. No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam hall without their admit card. The CDS Admit Card will include information about the exam centre, date, and time.
The CDS Admit Card 2023 is extremely important because it is required for all candidates taking the examination. It is an important means of identification and verification at the examination site. Candidates can download their UPSC CDS 2 admit card 2023 by clicking on the link provided above. If you are still having trouble downloading, follow the steps outlined below:
Visit the official Website of the UPSC
Click the Admit Cards tab on the homepage.
Select the “E-Admit Cards for UPSC Examinations” link from the drop-down option.
Now, click on the Download E-Admit card link for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023
Enter your login credentials, such as your Registration ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Enter the captcha that appears on the screen.
Then, to download your CDS admit card, click 'Submit'.
Download your Admit Card and take a printout for future use.
Note:
To secure admission to the Examination Hall, bring the printout of the e-Admit Card along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, which is mentioned on the e-Admit Card, to each session. The E-Admit Card must be kept safe until the CDS 2 Final Results 2023 are announced, as its presentation before the Service Selection Board is required.
Along with the printout of the e-Admit Card, you must bring a photo ID and other important documents as specified by the Union Public Services Commission to the Examination Venue. At the exam centre, you must present an original photo ID.
You can carry any of the following ID cards in original:
Aadhaar Card
Voter Card
PAN Card
Passport
Driving Licence
Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.
Candidates are also advised to bring a black ballpoint pen to the examination hall.

If any of the details are incorrect or there are any discrepancies, candidates should contact the authorities right away.
To notify the Commission, candidates are required to send an e-mail having all their details to skindo-upsc@gov.in, no later than 29 August 2023, so that the Commission can make a decision.
If the photograph is not visible or available on the e-admit Card, candidates are advised to bring three (03) identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with the printout of the e-Admit Card to the Examination Venue in order to appear with an undertaking.
While taking the UPSC CDS 2023 exam, the below-mentioned important instructions must be followed.
Make sure your admit card is printed and ready to be presented at the examination centre. Also, as specified in the instructions, bring a valid photo ID.
Keep in mind the reporting time specified on your admit card and arrive at the examination centre early. The entrance to the Examination Venue will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Take note of the items that are not permitted in the examination hall, such as cell phones, calculators, smartwatches, electronic devices, study materials, and so on.
Understand the exam duration and the sections/papers that you must attempt. Manage your time wisely to ensure you finish all the required sections.
For incorrect answers marked by a candidate on the objective-type Question Paper of the Examination, there will be a penalty (Negative Marking).
Answers other than those written with a black ballpoint pen on an objective question paper will not be considered.

SSB INTERVIEW (INTELLIGENCE & PERSONALITY TEST)
The CDS SSB Interview is divided into two stages, each of which includes an intelligence and personality test:
(a) Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT).
(b) Stage II: Over the course of four days, four tests are administered: Interviews, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference.
Candidates may submit representations, if any, on the questions asked in the Question Papers of CDS (II) Examination 2023 to the Commission only through the "Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)" between September 4th and September 10th, 2023 (till 6:00 PM). The Commission will not accept any representation received in any other manner after the above-mentioned time period.
