The BSF Tradesman test has specific eligibility conditions, such as the age restriction, qualification, medical and physical standards, and so on, that candidates must meet to take the exams.

However, the Common Service Centre would charge each candidate Rs. 47.2 as a service charge.
The BSF Tradesman Selection Process uses the selection process with two phases. The first phase of the BSF Tradesman examination includes a written examination. Candidates who pass the written exam will be shortlisted for the second phase of the examination, which includes the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, Trade Test, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Candidates who are selected based on their performance in the written examination will be invited to take the PST and PET exams. Candidates will be requested to go through the height bar at the start, and those with less height will be excluded and will not be allowed to participate in the rest of the recruiting process.

The BSF Constable Tradesman Admit Cards will be made available by the Border Security Force 7 to 10 days before the examination.
Steps to download your BSF Tradesman Admit Card 2023 card are given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Border Security Force.
Step 2: On the home page, click the “Download Admit card link for BSF Constable (Tradesman) exam”.
Step 3: Enter your login information, including your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4: After entering the security code, click the Submit button.
Step 5: The screen will display your e-Admit card.
Step 6: Download the Admit Card and print two copies for future reference.
Candidates may get the BSF Tradesman Answer Key 2023 by going to the official website at rectt.bsf.gov.in. Candidates can use this Answer Key to verify their answers and evaluate their performance. Candidates must use their login credentials, which include their roll number and date of birth, to get the BSF Tradesman Answer Key 2023.

Candidates, on the other hand, can access their question paper, responses, and answer key, as well as raise objections (if any) via the Objection Management Window. To do so, candidates must log in to the portal with their credentials and visit the Objection tab/window to view their question paper and file an objection. Any objection(s) raised through any other method will be ignored.
Border Security Force will release the BSF Tradesman Result for each stage individually, including the names and roll numbers of candidates qualified for that stage. Around a month after the exam, the results will be released in PDF format, along with the cut-off marks. Candidates can view/download their Tradesman Result 2023 through the commission's official website, www.bsf.nic.in.

Constables (Tradesman) in the Border Security Force will be entitled to get salary in the pay Matrix Level-3 of 7th CPC (Revised Pay Structure). The monthly salary of Constable (Tradesman) includes the basic pay ranging from Rs.21,700 to 69,100/-.
Other allowance: In addition to the basic salary, the BSF Constables are entitled to other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time.
Among the benefits granted to BSF personnel are ration allowances, medical assistance, free accommodation, free leave passes, and so on.
