SAESI

• SAESI is Safran’s dedicated facility for the Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion (LEAP) engine, which powers Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The establishment of this facility is a major milestone, as it is one of the world’s largest aircraft engine MRO facilities.
• This is the first time a global engine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) has started MRO operations in India.
• LEAP engines power Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The establishment of SAESI is a significant milestone, as it is not only one of the world’s largest aircraft engine MRO facilities, but also the first time a global engine OEM has started MRO operations in the country.
• With the rapid growth of India’s aviation sector, the need for maintenance, repair, and MRO services has increased significantly. Nearly 85 percent of our MRO work was being done abroad, which increased costs, caused delays, and grounded aircraft for long periods.
• Upon achieving full operational capacity by 2035, this state-of-the-art facility will employ more than a thousand highly skilled Indian technicians and engineers.

PM Modi will inaugurate Skyroot’s Infinity campus
