SSC GD Exam Date 2026 (Postponed): Check New SSC GD Constable Exam Dates

The SSC GD Exam 2026 has been postponed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) as per the notice issued on 17 February 2026. Earlier, the Computer-Based Examination for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 was scheduled from 23rd February, 2026 onwards. Soon, the Commission will announce the SSC GD New Exam Date 2026. 

It’s a golden opportunity for the candidates to revise the syllabus again. The option to choose exam slots will not be provided for the SSC GD Exam 2026. To check the exam city details of the allotted exam city, the SSC GD City Intimation Slip will be issued 8 to 10 days prior to the start of the examination. Candidates who have applied for the exam are advised to keep visiting the official website of the SSC for further updates.

SSC GD Admit Card 2026

The SSC GD Admit Card 2026 is expected to be issued approximately two to three days before the exam date. Once the admit card is issued, candidates will be able to download their admit card by following the steps below:

1. Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) using any web browser.
2. On the homepage, click on the Admit Card section and navigate to the login page.
3. Enter your Registration Number or Roll Number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code to log in.
4. After logging in, click on the link titled “Download Admit Card for Constable (GD) Examination 2026.”
5. Your SSC GD CBE hall ticket will appear on the screen. Save the file to your device and take several printouts for future use.

Note:- Carry one printed copy to the examination centre and keep an additional copy for future use.
