Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates who wish to appear in the Rajasthan BSTC Exam should first check the upper age limit. Candidates must not be above 28 years on the exam date.

Note:- 1. Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands have no upper age limit for applying.
2. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and female categories will receive age relaxation as per the age-relaxation rules set by the Rajasthan Government.

Educational Qualification

BSTC Educational Qualification has been detailed through the Rajasthan BSTC Notification 2026. Candidates should have the following educational qualifications to apply for the Rajasthan BSTC 2026:-

1. Applicants should have completed their Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Candidates belonging to the special categories, such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ EWS/ PWD/ Widow/ Divorced Women/Women Separated from their Husbands, are eligible for 5% relaxation, hence their minimum required marks are 45%. 
2. No rounding off of marks will be allowed for determining eligibility. If a candidate from the General category scores 49.99% (444.99/900), they will not be considered eligible.
3. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th exam in 2026 may also apply. However, they must submit their final result/marksheet as per the schedule; otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled.

Note:- Candidates who have passed the Senior Upadhyaya (Class 12) examination must select the Senior Upadhyaya option while entering their class details in the application form.
