The online application link for HTET is now activated on the BSEH website from 30 October to 10 November 2023. HTET Notification 2023
The BSEH has released the HTET Notification with recruitment details. Passing the HTET gets you a valid certificate for 7 years. Successful candidates can become Level 1, 2 and 3 teachers in the Haryana Government. HTET 2023 is scheduled to take place on 2 & 3 December 2023, so get ready to kickstart your teaching career. HTET Eligibility Criteria 2023
To apply for the Haryana TET 2023, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria which typically include nationality, age limit and educational qualification etc. Check these parameters carefully before applying to the examination:-
Nationality
To apply for the Haryana TET, candidates must be Indian citizens.
Age Limit
Candidates aged between 18 and 38 are eligible to apply for the HTET 2023 exam.
Educational Qualification

Level I - Classes I-V: Primary Teacher (PRT) |
1. You need a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) qualification with at least 50% marks and should have either completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR You can have Senior Secondary with 45% marks and be enrolled in or have finished a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks, and either completed or in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR A Graduation degree and completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. 2. You must also have passed Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or have Hindi as a subject in Senior Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation. |

Level 2: TGT (Class VI to VIII) |
1. A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in a specific subject, and that specific subject should also be your teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed/D.El.Ed. OR A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the specific subject, and that subject should be your teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education) as per NCTE regulations. OR A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with at least 50% marks in a specific subject. OR A four-year integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in a specific subject. 2. Your Bachelor's degree should include any two stream-specific subjects with at least 50% marks individually throughout the course. |

Level 3: PGT (Class IX to XII) |
1. You need an M.A. or M.A. in Public Administration with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university. 2. You should have passed Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects. 3. A consistent good academic record is required. |
HTET Application Process
HTET Online Application Link 2023 is available on the official website from 30 October to 10 November 2023. To apply, candidates should visit the official website. Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply:-
- Visit the BSEH website.
- On the homepage, click on Online Registration For HTET Exam 2023. After clicking on the link, a new screen will appear where you have to click on “Click for new registration” If you already registered yourself then skip this step.
- After the successful registration, click on already registered and start entering your credentials carefully.
- Now, upload the scanned documents and pay the application fee according to their categories.
- Be sure to print out the final submission for your future reference.

HTET Exam Pattern
Those who are going to appear in the Haryana TET 2023, should be aware of the HTET 2023 examination pattern to appear in the HTET. Have a look at these below-mentioned points & table for a clear view:-
- The HTET exam pattern differs depending on the post level.
- In all three levels, there will be a total of 150 questions to answer, and you'll have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
- The exam will be held in the traditional pen-and-paper format (offline).
- Multiple-choice questions will be asked.
- You will be rewarded with one mark for each right answer..
- The exam paper will be available in both Hindi and English, making it bilingual.

HTET 2023 Admit Card
The Board of School Education, Haryana, will release the HTET admit cards for eligible candidates about two weeks before the exam date. It's important to note that the admit cards for each level (PRT, TGT, and PGT) will be separate. If a candidate applies for two or three levels, they will receive different admit cards for each.
These admit cards will be available for download on the official website. It is compulsory to bring the admit card, along with a valid ID proof, to enter the examination hall. Once the admit card is issued by the board, we will update the direct link here too:-

HTET Result 2023
After the successful completion of HTET 2023, the board will declare the HTET 2023 result. Those who will qualify in the HTET 2023 will be eligible to apply for the vacancies of teachers in Haryana's government-affiliated schools for 7 years from the declaration date of the result.
