What is HTET?
The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a mandatory exam organized by the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) for individuals aspiring to become teachers in government-affiliated schools across Haryana. This exam is essentially a "golden ticket" for those aiming to pursue a teaching career as a Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), or Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) within the state's education system.
The HTET is designed to evaluate the necessary aptitude and skills required for teaching at the Elementary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels. It ensures that those recruited as teachers have the necessary qualifications and skills to face the challenges of the teaching profession. According to HTET Notification, candidates between the ages of 18 and 38 are eligible to apply for the HTET 2024 exam.

1. You need a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) qualification with at least 50% marks and should have either completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR You can have Senior Secondary with 45% marks and be enrolled in or have finished a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks, and either completed or in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR A Graduation degree and completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. 2. 1. A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in a specific subject, and that specific subject should also be your teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed/D.El.Ed. OR A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the specific subject, and that subject should be your teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education) as per NCTE regulations. OR A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with at least 50% marks in a specific subject. OR A four-year integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in a specific subject. 2. Your Bachelor's degree should include any two stream-specific subjects with at least 50% marks individually throughout the course. |

- Start by visiting the official BSEH website.
- On the homepage, click on "Online Registration for HTET Exam 2024."
- Select "Click for new registration" on the new screen (if you have already registered, skip this step).
- After successful registration, click on "Already Registered" and carefully enter your login credentials.

HTET 2024 Admit Card
The Board of School Education, Haryana will issue HTET Admit Cards to eligible candidates approximately two weeks before the exam date. Separate admit cards will be provided for each level—PRT, TGT, and PGT. Candidates who apply for multiple levels will receive distinct admit cards for each. The HTET Answer Key 2024 will be available for all levels on the official website after the exam is conducted successfully. Each level’s answer key will be released as a separate PDF, listing the correct answers used by authorities to assess the candidates’ OMR response sheets. HTET Result 2024
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) will announce the HTET Result 2024 after the successful completion of the exam. Qualified candidates will be awarded a certificate by the Board, with separate certificates provided for those who qualify for multiple levels. The Board's website will provide the statement of marks for all candidates who appeared in the HTET.
The result will be finalized after a comparison with the IRIS database (Biometric Profile Verification) as directed by the Board. To check the HTET result, follow these steps:

HTET 2024 Exam Cut-off
HTET Notification 2024 details the minimum qualifying marks for the HTET. To qualify for the HTET 2024, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 60% (90 out of 150 marks) for General and OBC categories and 55% (82 out of 150 marks) for SC/PH candidates from Haryana. HTET Scorecard Validity Period
According to the HTET Notification 2024, the HTET qualifying certificate is now valid for a lifetime from its issuance date for all levels. If the HTET result is revised by the Board, changing a candidate's status from 'Not Qualified' to 'Qualified,' the certificate's validity will begin from the issuance date. If the result is revised from 'Qualified' to 'Qualified,' the validity will be based on the date of the main result declaration.
Similarly, if the result is delayed or revised at the candidate’s request, the validity will start from the main result declaration date. There is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make to obtain the HTET certificate. Qualified candidates may opt to reappear in the HTET to improve their scores if they wish.
