Bihar Special School Teacher Notification has been issued by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) for the Class 1 to 8 Special School Teachers. BSSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Before applying for the Bihar Special School Teacher 2023, candidates should check the BSSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023. Nationality

Educational Qualification

Candidates should check their academic qualifications before applying for the BSSTET positions. Have a look at Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 teachers’ educational qualifications below:-

For teaching classes 1 to 5:

You need to have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
You should have completed D.El.Ed in Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Also, you need a valid CRR No. from the Rehabilitation Council of India.
Six months of teaching experience in dealing with different disabilities is required. Training in Special Education from a recognized institution or an equivalent D.El.Ed. in Special Education with a valid CRR No. will also suffice.
If you've passed Intermediate with 50% marks in Bengali, you can apply, provided you meet all other conditions.

For teaching classes 6 to 8:

You'll need a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
A B.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with a valid CRR No. is necessary. Alternatively, a B.Ed. with a Certificate/Diploma equivalent to a B.Ed. in Special Education from a recognized institution with a valid CRR will also be accepted.
Similarly, six months of teaching experience in dealing with different disabilities is required.
