Bihar Special School Teacher Notification 2023 For 7279 Vacancies

Bihar Special School Teacher Notification has been issued by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) for the Class 1 to 8 Special School Teachers. Online applications for the BSSTET can be submitted by the candidates from 2 December to 22 December 2023. The Education Department in Bihar is conducting this Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) in 2023 to find teachers who can support students with special needs in regular schools.

Through BSSTET Notification 2023, 5534 positions are announced for the trained teachers of classes 1 to 5 and 1745 positions are announced for classes 6 to 8. Passing BSSTET won't guarantee a job but is a requirement to be eligible for employment. Candidates are advised to read this article carefully to check BSSTET 2023 Updates.

Bihar Special School Teacher Notification PDF 2023 was released on 1 December 2023. It contains comprehensive information regarding the Bihar Special School TET Exam 2023, offering all the necessary details for interested candidates. A total of 7279 vacancies are announced through BSSTET 2023. Candidates can apply for either one paper between Paper 1/ Paper 2 or either both papers.

BSSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Before applying for the Bihar Special School Teacher 2023, candidates should check the BSSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023. Eligibility criteria typically contain nationality, age limit and educational qualification. Check these below-mentioned points for a clear description of the eligibility criteria:-

Nationality

To apply for the BSSTET positions, candidates must be Indian citizens. 

Age Limit 

Candidate's minimum age should be 18 years on 1 August 2023. The maximum age limit is tabulated below according to categories:-

Note:- Certain categories of candidates receive relaxations: PWD candidates get a 10-year relaxation, while ex-servicemen receive a 3-year relaxation. However, all candidates must ensure they are not above 57 years old.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should check their academic qualifications before applying for the BSSTET positions. Have a look at Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 teachers’ educational qualifications below:-

For teaching classes 1 to 5:

  • You need to have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • You should have completed D.El.Ed in Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Also, you need a valid CRR No. from the Rehabilitation Council of India.
  • Six months of teaching experience in dealing with different disabilities is required. Training in Special Education from a recognized institution or an equivalent D.El.Ed. in Special Education with a valid CRR No. will also suffice.
  • If you've passed Intermediate with 50% marks in Bengali, you can apply, provided you meet all other conditions.

For teaching classes 6 to 8:

  • You'll need a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
  • A B.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with a valid CRR No. is necessary. Alternatively, a B.Ed. with a Certificate/Diploma equivalent to a B.Ed. in Special Education from a recognized institution with a valid CRR will also be accepted.
  • Similarly, six months of teaching experience in dealing with different disabilities is required.

BSSTET Application Process

BSSTET application link is available on the BSEB official website and candidates can submit their application by 22 December 2023 by visiting the BSEB website. In case you are facing any trouble then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 1: Start by visiting the BSEB website.

Step 2: Look for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test application link on the homepage.

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your credentials and if you already registered yourself then skip this step.

Step 4: Log in using your details such as your Mobile number and password. Complete the online form and upload the required documents.

Step 5: After completing the form, you will be redirected to the payment gateway where you have to pay the application fee according to your category. 

Step 6: In the end, download and print a copy of the final submission for your records.

BSSTET Exam Pattern

The Bihar School Examination Board will issue the BSSTET admit card approximately one to two weeks before the exam. To access your admit card, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 3: Enter your mobile number and OTP/Password on the login page.

Step 4: Your BSSTET 2023 admit card will display; ensure all details are accurate.

Step 5: Download and print the admit card to bring to the exam centre.

BSSTET Result 2023 

Bihar Special School Teacher Exam Result 2023 will be declared by the BSEB after the completion of BSSTET 2023. To qualify BSSTET, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks. Category-wise minimum qualifying marks are tabulated below:-
