Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of Naval Staff and CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard signed the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Exchange of White Shipping Information on 23 Aug 2023.
The SOP was signed in New Delhi during the current visit of the Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard to India.
- The signing of the SOP between the Philippine Coast Guard and the Indian Navy will facilitate operational exchange of information on merchant shipping traffic, contributing to enhancing maritime security in the region.
