The 12th edition of the World Government Summit opened in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the 10th of February 2025. The four day event to be held in Dubai from 10th -13th February 2025 brings together the global thought leaders, experts, and decision-makers, to share and contribute to the development of tools, policies, and models that are essential in shaping future governments and progress.
India was represented by the Union Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, who participated in the High-Level Roundtable on the Future of Mobility and the XDGs 2045 Ministerial Roundtable session of the World Government Summit.

- It was set up to serve as a global knowledge exchange platform for governments to promote government innovation and excellence.

Bhupender Yadav, participated in the High-Level Roundtable on the Future of Mobility and the XDGs 2045 Ministerial Roundtable session of the 2025 World Government Summit
- At the XD 2045, Bhupendra Yadav presented India’s vision for sustainable development, as per its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and India’s aim to be a developed country by 2047.
- He also recalled the Mission Life (Lifestyle for Environment) initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which seeks to promote a lifestyle that is more sustainable, environment friendly.
- He reiterated India’s commitment to a sustainable green growth with focus on afforestation, sustainable agriculture, and the development of green infrastructure.
