RPSC RAS Mains 2023 Exam Date Postponed: Check Updates

RPSC RAS Main Exam 2023 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. Earlier, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission issued a notice to announce the RPSC RAS Main Exam Date 2023 on 20 October 2023. According to that notice, the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Main Exam 2023 was scheduled for 27 & 28 January 2024. Now, the Commission has decided to postpone the exam date from January to June and July month 2024.

RPSC RAS Mains Date 2023 

RPSC RAS Main Exam Date will be announced soon which is expected to be conducted in June and July 2024. The commission initially declared 905 vacancies for state and subordinate services, and this figure has now been revised to 972 vacancies. Notably, there were no vacancies allocated for Rajasthan Tax Services initially; however, the commission has increased it by 67 vacancies. Candidates who meet the prescribed minimum qualifying scores in the written Main Examination will be summoned for the Personality and Viva Voce Examination, carrying a weightage of 100 marks.

The RPSC RAS Main Exam Pattern entails a thorough understanding to aid candidates in formulating an effective preparation strategy. Key points about the RAS Exam structure include:

1. The written examination comprises four papers.
2. Each paper was conducted for 200 marks.
3. Candidates are provided with a 3-hour timeframe to complete each paper.
4. To be eligible for the Personality and Viva Voce Examinations, candidates must attain a minimum of 10% in each paper.
5. Additionally, a minimum aggregate score of 15% is mandatory, calculated from the cumulative marks obtained across all four papers.
