The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has recently released the written examination result of the UPSSSC Van Daroga (Forest Guard) position for the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Government's Wildlife Department on 27 September 2023. The online applications were accepted by the commission for 701 posts from 17 October to 6 November 2022 via the commission's website www.upsssc.gov.in.

UPSSSC Forest Guard (Vandaroga) Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before submitting an application, candidates must meet all of the UPSSSC Forest Guard Eligibility requirements. If it is discovered that a candidate provided inaccurate information in their application, their candidacy will be canceled. Check all the eligibility conditions carefully: 

1. Age Limit (as on 01 July 2022)

For direct recruitment to the post of Forest Guard, it is necessary that the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as of 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised, and must not have attained the age of more than 40 years.

However, the relaxation in the upper age limit shall be given to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and such other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time.

4. Medical Standards

• No candidate shall be appointed to any position in the Service unless he is in good mental and physical health and is free of any physical disability that would prohibit him from carrying out his duties effectively. There is the chance of an impediment. Before a candidate is finally authorized for appointment through direct recruitment, he must pass the Medical Council examination. 
• A female candidate who is discovered to be pregnant for 12 weeks or longer based on the test results will be termed temporarily ill. She will be re-evaluated for fitness six weeks after delivery.

Application Process of UPSSSC Forest Guard 2022

Candidates who want to apply for the UPSSSC Van Daroga Recruitment must do so online through the official website of the commission. They must have a valid PET-2021 scorecard and have secured the minimum cut-off marks required to apply for the post. To apply easily through the website of commission, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: First, Visit the official website of the UPSSSC. 

Step 2: Click on “Applicant’s Dashboard Tab (Login through PET Registration Number)” given under the Applicants section on the home page.

Step 3: There you have to authenticate through personal details or OTP to login.

Step 4: Thereafter a pre-filled form will be displayed with the details entered by you at the time of PET 2021 registration.

Step 5: After verifying the details upload your photograph, signature and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the form after clicking on the checkbox next to the declaration.

Step 7: Proceed to download the form and take a printout of it for future reference.

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

Candidates are only required to pay online processing fees when filling out their application form; there is currently no separate application fee. If a candidate is shortlisted for the main examination, the examination fee for the main examination must be paid separately before downloading the admit card for the main examination.

The selection process of Direct Recruitment 2022 for the post of Uttar Pradesh (UP) Forest Guard/Guard includes the following steps:

• Written Examination: The written exam will be of objective type in nature and will have 100 MCQs in it. The medium of examination is bilingual, i.e. the questions will be available in English and Hindi Languages (except for the Hindi language section).
• Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PMT & PET):  Under this qualifying walking test, male applicants must walk 25 kilometers in four hours and female candidates must walk 14 kilometers in four hours.

The UPSSSC Forest Guard Admit Card was released for the main exam on April 24, 2023. This is for the written (Majors) exam.  All qualified applicants should only download the UPSSSC Forest Guard Admit Card from the commission's official website. UPSSSC Forest Guard 2022 Result

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Commission (UPSSSC) announced the written exam results of the UP Van Daroga (Forest Guard) examination 2022 on their official website on 27 September 2023. According to the commission's announcement, a total of 1697 individuals have been shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test based on the written test results and cut-off marks. UPSSSC Forest Guard Salary 2022

Depending on the UPSSSC Forest Guard salary scale, benefits, perks, and other allowances, the commission decides on the UPSSSC Forest Guard salary. The selected candidates will get a salary in the Pay Scale-1, that is having a pay scale between Rs.5200-20200, and Grade Pay Rs.2800, Pay Level-5, under Pay Matrix Rs.29200-92300.
