RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 Short Notice OUT, Check Details Here

Good news for candidates looking for Railway Recruitment Board’s RRB Technician Recruitment 2024. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will soon issue a notification to recruit candidates for the post of Technician. The board recently issued a short notice for the recruitment of technicians. 

According to the notice, "RRBs are currently finalising the release of another Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) specifically aimed at recruiting technicians." We intend to send out this notification soon. Aspiring candidates are advised to regularly check the RRBs' official websites for timely updates and announcements regarding this upcoming notification."

The RRB Technician Detailed Notification will be uploaded soon on the board's official website. The notification will include all information about the recruitment, such as eligibility, salary, selection process and other positions.

Meanwhile, RRB is conducting a recruitment drive for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) across various railway zones.

RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria

As the official notification has not yet been released by the Railway Recruitment Board, here we are providing the expected eligibility criteria for the post of RRB Technicians based on the previous year’s notification.

• Age Limit: The minimum and maximum age limits for RRB Technicians are 18 and 28, respectively. However, under government regulations, various categories of candidates will be allowed to relax the upper age limit.
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
  • Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from NCVT or SCVT-accredited institutions in the related trades of Carpenter / Furniture and Cabinet Maker.

Note: Unless otherwise specified, a diploma or degree in engineering will not be accepted in place of a completed Act Apprenticeship or ITI for the position of Technician. The Graduate Act Apprenticeship will not be accepted instead of the Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
