RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2025 

RRB Junior Engineer Application 2025 should be submitted by eligible candidates who meet all the requirements of the RRB. Candidates must ensure that they meet all the required educational and technical qualifications for the position by the application closing date for this Recruitment. Those who are awaiting final results for their educational or technical qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.

Nationality

To be eligible for the RRB JE position, candidates must be Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal, subjects of Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intent to settle permanently. Additionally, candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries, also with the intention of permanent settlement, are eligible. 

Note:- Except for Indian citizens, candidates must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification

RRB JE Educational Qualification has been detailed through the Railway Junior Engineer Notification 2025. Candidates must have a required qualification from a recognized institute or university by the closing date for online application submission, which is 31 November 2025. Applicants whose final results for the required educational or technical qualifications are still pending will not be considered eligible to apply.

RRB JE Application Process

RRB JE Application Form must be submitted within the specified time frame, which is from 31 October to 30 November 2025. To apply for the RRB JE Recruitment 2025, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Visit the official RRB website and find the website link of your zone.
2. Click on the 'RRB JE Apply' tab.
3. Select the "New Registration Link" and provide your details, including your Name, Phone Number, Address, and Email ID.
4. You will receive login credentials via email and SMS based on the information you entered.
5. Log in using these credentials to access the RRB JE Online Application Form.
6. Complete the form by entering accurate details such as Address, Age, Gender, Category, and Educational Qualification.
7. Upload scanned copies of your current photograph and signature.
8. Pay the RRB JE application fee to finalize your application.
9. Take a printout of the final RRB JE Application Form Submission page for future reference.

Application Fees 

Candidates must pay the application fee based on their community or category. The fee can only be paid online using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. All associated service charges are the responsibility of the candidate. Payment through any other method is not allowed.

RRB JE 2025 Selection Process

RRB JE Selection Process is a 4-layer process in which candidates will progress through these stages, starting with the Computer-Based Tests, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

The selection process for the RRB JE consists of the following stages:

1. 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I)
2. 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II)
3. Document Verification (DV)
4. Medical Examination (ME)

RRB JE Exam Pattern

Before appearing for the RRB JE Examination, candidates must be familiar with the Examination pattern of the RRB Junior Engineer. There will be two Computer Based Tests. In this section, we are detailing both the CBT Patterns for your reference:-

Stage 1 CBT 

1. The CBT-1 is a screening test, with the question standard generally matching the educational and/or technical qualifications required for the posts.
2. The normalized score from CBT-1 will be used only to shortlist candidates for the 2nd stage CBT based on merit.
3. Candidates availing reservation benefits who are shortlisted for the 2nd stage CBT will continue to be considered within their reserved category for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
4. The examination will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions, carrying 100 marks.
5. Subjects included in the CBT-1 are Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science.
6. Candidates must complete the CBT-1 within 90 minutes.

Stage 2 CBT

1. Candidates will be selected for the RRB JE 2nd Stage CBT based on their normalized scores from the 1st Stage CBT.
2. The total number of candidates shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT will be 15 times the number of community-wise vacancies notified against the RRB, based on their merit in the 1st Stage CBT.
3. The duration of the CBT-2 is 120 minutes, or 160 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates who are accompanied by a scribe.
4. The examination will consist of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions, carrying a total of 150 marks.

RRB JE 2025 Admit Card

The RRB JE Admit Card 2025 will be available online on the respective regional RRB websites for each stage of the examination. Typically, admit cards are released four to five days before the scheduled exam date. Candidates will need to enter their user ID and password to download the RRB JE admit card.

To download the RRB JE Admit Card 2025, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official regional RRB website and search for RRB JE Admit Cards 2025.
2. Provide your application ID or username and password.
3. After submitting your credentials, you will be able to download your admit card.
4. Save and print the RRB JE Admit Card 2025.
5. Print multiple copies of the admit card for safekeeping in case one is misplaced.

RRB JE Answer Key 2025

The RRB JE answer key is officially released a few days (usually within a month) after the exam. The answer key is provided along with the candidate response sheet and question papers (series-wise). It enables candidates to match their answers against the official answers.

Candidates can also raise objections to the answer key through the objection-raising window.

To download the RRB JE answer key after its release, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website and click on the answer key link for the relevant stage of the examination.
2. A new login window will appear. Provide your RRB login details, such as your registration number and date of birth.
3. Click on 'Submit' to proceed.
4. Your answer key and response sheet will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download the RRB JE Answer Key PDF and save it for future reference.

RRB JE Result 2025 

The Railway Recruitment Board typically releases the RRB JE Result separately on each regional website after completing the examination. Results are published for each stage of the selection process.

To check the RRB JE Result 2025, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the regional RRB where you applied.
2. Click on the RRB JE Result 2025 link available on the homepage.
3. A new PDF file with the results will be displayed on the screen.
4. Use the Ctrl+F key to search for your name or roll number in the result PDF.
5. Download the PDF and save a hard copy for future reference.
